Espero que se encuentren genial, hoy quiero contarles sobre un día que se llenó de sonrisas, juegos, agua, música y amor familiar: la celebración del cumpleaños de mi primito Miguel, un niño lleno de energía que convirtió una reunión sencilla en un recuerdo maravilloso. Su cumpleaños fue el día de ayer y el lugar de encuentro fue nada menos que la casa de mi querida abuela, que, como siempre, se convirtió en el centro de alegría y encuentros cálidos.
La celebración comenzó desde temprano con una piscinada improvisada afuera de la casa para los niños, quienes al instante no dudaron el lanzarse al agua jeje. El ambiente se fue llenando de vida y aunque el sol pegaba fuerte, el agua era el mejor aliado, y los más pequeños (incluido el cumpleañero) no paraban de reír ni por un segundo. Había un flotador para mis primitas más pequeñas, los demás se lanzaban como si fueran súper héroes, y los adultos observaban con esa mezcla de ternura y nostalgia recordando su propia infancia.

)Yo compartí especialmente con mi prima Sofía, que es la más grandecita y hablamos muchísimo mientras los más pequeños disfrutaban. También nos dedicamos a organizar juegos, tomar fotos y disfrutar ese tipo de momentos que se sienten eternos cuando el cariño está en cada detalle. La casa de mi abuela se llenó de voces, pisadas descalzas sobre el piso mojado y esa sensación única de verano familiar.
)A medida que el sol comenzó a bajar, todos se fueron a alistar emocionados para el compartir de Miguel. Mi papá, mi hermano y yo nos fuimos a nuestra a casa a prepararnos, ya que es cerquita, regresamos en la noche y ya estaba lista la decoración, la torta y los refrigerios. Todo estaba cuidadosamente organizado: desde las sillas alrededor de la casa hasta los dulces que se distribuían con mucho cariño. La música comenzó a sonar, y no faltaron las canciones alegres que pusieron a bailar tanto a los pequeños como a los grandes. Mi abuela, como buena anfitriona, estaba pendiente de todos, asegurándose de que nadie se quedara sin probar algo rico.
)La llegada de más familiares hizo que la celebración tomara aún más fuerza. Tías, primos, vecinos cercanos y amigos de la familia… todos reunidos para festejar el cumpleaños de Miguel, que aunque ya había jugado bastante, seguía con energía como si el día acabara de comenzar. Las conversaciones se mezclaban con risas, anécdotas y ese ambiente típico de fiesta casera donde todo se siente cercano y real.
El momento más esperado llegó cuando cantamos cumpleaños. La torta estaba muy linda, decorada de su equipo favorito de fútbol (personalmente le voy al Barcelona jaja) y una vela que esperaba ser soplada por un deseo. Nos reunimos todos en círculo para cantar cumpleaños y estábamos todos los primos felices. Luego aplausos, abrazos, fotos, y ese calor humano que se vive cuando la familia se une.

)Al final de la noche, regresamos a casa con los pies cansados, pero el alma repleta de alegría. Fue un cumpleaños sencillo en cuanto a recursos, pero gigante en emociones. En cada rincón de la casa había una historia, una risa, un recuerdo compartido.

I hope you are all doing great. Today I want to tell you about a day filled with smiles, games, water, music, and family love: my little cousin Miguel's birthday celebration. Miguel is a boy full of energy who turned a simple gathering into a wonderful memory. His birthday was yesterday, and the gathering took place at none other than my dear grandmother's house, which, as always, became a center of joy and warm encounters.
The celebration began early with an impromptu pool party outside the house for the children, who didn't hesitate to jump into the water right away, haha. The atmosphere was filled with life, and although the sun was beating down, the water was the best ally, and the little ones (including the birthday boy) didn't stop laughing for a second. There was a float for my youngest cousins, the others jumped in as if they were superheroes, and the adults watched with a mixture of tenderness and nostalgia, remembering their own childhood.

I spent time especially with my cousin Sofía, who is the oldest, and we talked a lot while the little ones enjoyed themselves. We also organized games, took photos, and enjoyed those moments that feel eternal when love is in every detail. My grandmother's house was filled with voices, barefoot footsteps on the wet floor, and that unique feeling of a family summer.

As the sun began to set, everyone went to get ready, excited for Miguel's party. My dad, my brother, and I went to our house to get ready, since it's close by. We returned in the evening, and the decorations, cake, and snacks were already ready. Everything was carefully organized: from the chairs around the house to the sweets that were distributed with great care. The music began to play, and there was no shortage of cheerful songs that got both young and old dancing. My grandmother, as a good hostess, was attentive to everyone, making sure that no one was left without trying something delicious.

The arrival of more family members made the celebration even more lively. Aunts, cousins, close neighbors, and family friends... everyone gathered to celebrate Miguel's birthday. Even though he had already played a lot, he still had energy as if the day had just begun. Conversations were mixed with laughter, anecdotes, and that typical home party atmosphere where everything feels close and real.
The most anticipated moment came when we sang "Happy Birthday." The cake was very pretty, decorated with his favorite soccer team (personally, I root for Barcelona, haha) and a candle waiting to be blown out for a wish. We all gathered in a circle to sing "Happy Birthday," and all the cousins were happy. Then there was applause, hugs, photos, and that human warmth that comes when the family gets together.

At the end of the night, we returned home with tired feet but our souls filled with joy. It was a simple birthday in terms of resources, but huge in terms of emotions. In every corner of the house there was a story, a laugh, a shared memory.
