In recent years, I've been very fortunate. In the Christian congregations where I've been, I've met many children. To be honest, I didn't know I could be so accepted among them.
I often tend to be quite serious, but I've never lost that inner child in me. I love being with children, talking to them, and learning how they think. Sometimes the questions they ask can leave us without answers, and that sincerity that characterizes them is what I love most about them.

A few months ago I promised a little friend that I would take her out for ice cream, but with so many things going on in my life, I had completely forgotten that promise, but guess what? This little one didn't forget hahahahaha, so talking to me a few weeks ago she reminded me that I had invited her to eat ice cream 😜
I definitely felt embarrassed because I hadn't kept my promise. Every time I promise something, it's serious to me, and I like to keep it, especially if it's a child.
Thank God, you can talk to them and understand each other, so we set a date to eat that ice cream together, and that's how it was! I was able to keep my promise. On Thursday, I took some time to take her out for a little walk so she could enjoy her French fries and vanilla ice cream.
Of course, we first asked her mom's permission. She didn't have any problem; she's actually grateful for the attention we give her little one.
My little friend behaved better than many adults, respectful, smiling, and happy. For my part, it was a very pleasant moment. It helped me relax a little. It's also so satisfying to see a child smile and know you're part of that smile 😍

En los últimos años he sido muy afortunada, en las congregaciones cristianas en donde he estado me he conseguido con muchos niños, si les soy sincera no sabía que podía ser tan aceptada entre ellos.
Muchas veces suelo ser bastante seria pero nunca he perdido ese niño que llevo dentro, me encanta estar con los niños, hablar con ellos, saber cómo piensan, a veces las preguntas que hacen nos pueden hasta dejar sin respuestas y esa sinceridad que los caracteriza es lo que más amo de ellos.

Hace unos meses atrás le prometí a una pequeña amiguita que la llevaría a comer un Helado, pero entre tantas cosas que han estado pasando en mi vida, había olvidado por completo esa promesa, pero ¿adivinen qué? a esta pequeña no se le olvido jajajajaja, así que hablando conmigo hace unas semanas atrás me recordó que yo le había hecho una invitación a comer Helado 😜
Definitivamente sentí vergüenza porque no había cumplido mi promesa, siempre que prometo algo es serio para mí, y me gusta cumplir, sobre todo si se trata de un niño.
Gracias a Dios uno puede hablar con ellos y entenderse, así que le pusimos fecha para comernos ese Helado juntas, y ¡así fue! pude cumplir con mi promesa, el día Jueves tomé un tiempo para llevarla a pasear un ratito y que ella se pudiera deleitar con sus papitas fritas y su Helado de vainilla.
Antes por supuesto pedimos permiso a su mamá, ella no tuvo ningún problema, más bien esta agradecida por la atención que le damos a su pequeña.
Mi amiguita se portó mejor que muchos adultos, respetuosa, sonriente y feliz, por mi lado fue un momento muy agradable, me sirvió para relajarme un poco, además es tan satisfactorio ver a un niño sonreír y saber que formas parte de esa sonrisa 😍
