Hello, my dear hivers! It has been some time since I have posted a blog last time. I am quite busy with my duties as an OJT intern, especially since I have been assigned to a very active and fast book office, that I enjoy honestly!
Anyway, I am finally back with another blog, at this time, I will share the story of my internship journey. It is a new chapter filled with real-world experiences, personal growth and eye-opening moments.
Today, I’ll be sharing with you all about my first day as student intern from the Psychology program, assigned as probation officers. It is actually a privilege to be placed here because I only saw such a setting in the K-drama, and now I still cannot believe that I myself became one of the authorities.
Anyway, we were already informed that our first day would be a field assignment because a determined program was happening on that day, it was completely aligned with our internship start date.
Ma’am told us that the program would start in the morning and she also gave us the location ahead of time.
So, when the day arrived, I came early.
Regarding our DTR (Daily Time Record), Kuya Andrew had already bought it for us and handed it out for free when we got there.
As we arrived, the other probation officers weren’t there yet, so we waited outside for a while.
After a few minutes, one of our classmates arrived, bringing the belts we all ordered together, our internship adviser said we should all wear matching belts as part of our uniform.
By 8:30 am, people started arriving, including probationers, they were really early. When I was on the way to the venue, I happened to ride with someone who went out under probation. By the way, I did not know him.
Eventually, most of the probation officers had arrived, and Ma’am called us to go up to the second floor because the program was about to begin.
While waiting for the people under probation to settle in, we took shots and smiled even though we were super nervous deep inside.
Oh, and this was the view from where we stood, very beautiful! There were many green trees, and the air was so fresh. This really helped to calm my nerves.
And that is all for today's blog, my dear hivers! Thank you for reading!

You really captured the nerves and excitement of your first day through your descriptive words. The green view sounds so calming. Perfect start to this new chapter. You must be so glad to work as probation officer.
