It was a regular day, Thursday to be precise i was getting ready for counselling practical in school which was always held in the counselling laboratory,one thing about the lecturer taking the course was that you must always be on corporate wear every Thursday for the class🤣

I had dressed carefully for a corporate outfit comfortable skirt and a light-colored top with a covered shoe. I felt confident and ready to enjoy the day, especially the class. But halfway through, i suddenly realized i hadn’t quite anticipated my period arriving earlier than expected.

At first, i tried to ignore the uneasy feeling, hoping it was just a false alarm or just a mere stomach ache. But as i got up from the chair in the laboratory, i noticed a dark, unmistakable stain spreading across the back of her my skirt. Panic set in,i was already feeling shy,i wasn't myself anymore,i felt like the floor should open up and i enter into it🥺. I had no spare clothes or ladies wear with me, and the nearest restroom was a good distance away.

Thinking quickly, i called a course mate of mine to lend me her jacket around her waist to cover the shame. The oversized jacket looked a bit funny, but it saved me from embarrassment. A close friend even joked, “Fashion statement or emergency cape?” which lightened the mood.

Later, when i finally got to a restroom, i cleaned up as best as i could and laughed at how my wardrobe had betrayed me at the most inconvenient moment. When i was thinking that owkk after the class i would take alot of pictures but Chim picture was the one that took me. I learned a valuable lesson: always carry emergency supplies and maybe avoid light-colored clothes on uncertain days!
