Do you know how you can have a boss and you would always be happy when you want to talk to him on Zoom or Google Meet and how you can also have a boss you would always want to avoid a video call with?

Now, let's talk about the boss I don't like and how I almost got myself sacked. You might ask how I got myself in such a situation.

I haven't always disliked my boss; I'll call him Mr. A. Mr. A is the kind of person that is never satisfied with the amount of work you do. "Fash, I want a new model strategy for the social media team on how they are going to boost the views and get more followers."

After giving that instruction, I did my best to make sure everything worked and we got 5 new followers that week. On Friday we had a report meeting for us to give our weekly report.

I was the first to join the meeting because I wanted to just give my report, then mute myself and play games all through the rest of the meeting, but the devil said, "No." He was prepared to get me in trouble.

The meeting started and I switched off my camera because I didn't want anyone to see my facial expressions. After presenting, he went on and said

"Is that it?. Have you been working at all? Just five new followers."

And I went, "Sir, I did the task you asked me. You should ask the social media team why such is happening."

Then he went, "You are not serious. So I should be the one asking. What happened to your mouth? Did a snake kiss your lips"

As I was about to talk, he called the next person cutting me off.

Now, I have a private group chat where my friends who we work together chat and say our minds because we can't do that on the office WhatsApp group. Immediately he cut me off, and I went straight to our group to type

"This Mr A has no sense at all; he is just shouting and blabbing. He doesn't use his brain at all. Should I go to people house and drag them to follow us?

I was enjoying what i was typing, now the issue is that I was still sharing my screen without knowing and I was shining my teeth and smiling while I was typing.

My friends kept shouting, "Bastard off your screen, stop sharing," meanwhile I already muted them as I scrolled through all the messages we had been chatting and cursing at our boss. Then I heard

"You can stop sharing your screen now. I have seen enough." It was like God spoke to me directly but it was my boss voice I heard

It was at that moment I knew I had 4 cups. I wanted the oor to open up and shallow me.

Well, I was too valuable to be sacked and that was what saved my ass. Never will I try that again.
