Who would think that writing a date at the top of a page would be so difficult? I've been a little quiet i this community, and a little quiet overall.
The 25th of June is a day about being late, being lazy, and a day about train stations. I refuse to elaborate further.
It is also a day about eating shitty Chinese food, but owing to personal treasury constraints, there won't be any ordering in.
Instead I've got chicken out of the freezer, and I'll be attempting to make some honey chicken. Attempting being the key word.
I had a rather eventful weekend which saw a lot of driving, a lot of talking, and a lot of achieving very little. The rest of this week will be much the same.
In about four to six weeks, life is likely to become significantly more annoying, so I am trying to start preparing myself for this both logistically and psychologically.
Amusing how a single event can orchestrate so many others of inconvenience, frustration, self doubt and reflection. In any case, there's no point trying to change the past.
I can only hope to influence the future. So, for the time being I will continue to try and enjoy by joyful, video game driven hedonism, and gym sessions while they remain available to me.
I still wait to hear back regarding job interviews, because I like money.

The honey chicken was great. I didn't know about mixing the meats with the baking powder / bi carb soda before cooking, but now I do, and oh gosh, I've never cooked better chicken in my life.
