
Sponge cake comes in a variety of flavors and is highly sought after by many people in my area. It's usually made for special occasions, brought home as a gift to relatives, or even as a souvenir when visiting friends. Today, I'm going to make my own version of this sponge cake. By adding flour, eggs, and margarine, it's become a delicious snack at home. I especially enjoy making snacks at home on holidays.

My children and husband especially love this sponge cake. It's a simple version, meaning it doesn't have any flavors; I just add a little chocolate to the top for a different color.
Because usually my child likes the chocolate version, but I already made it yesterday, and today I will make a sponge cake with a regular version, if you want to know the recipe, just follow my post today, I will share it here

It looks very soft, right? Remember, the key to soft sponge cake is in the eggs. Mix the eggs until they are white with traces. If you want your sponge cake to be soft like this, hehehe.. because the softness of the sponge cake makes the cake that we will enjoy later even more delicious.
OK, here are the steps that I will share here for you to enjoy the recipe.
Materials used

200 grams of flour
200 grams of granulated sugar
200 grams of margarine
4 eggs
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp SP
3 tbsp cocoa powder
100 ml chocolate milk

First I took a container and I broke the eggs, then I added granulated sugar, margarine, baking powder, baking soda, and SP.

Next, I mixed it until the eggs were white, then I added the flour.

then I mixed it again until it was white and thick, then I prepared a baking pan, I greased it with margarine and I also sprinkled a little flour on the edges

To make the topping on top, I mixed chocolate powder milk and chocolate liquid milk. After mixing the two, I put it in a triangular plastic bag and sprinkled it on top of the cake. I also shaped the cake.

I baked the cake for about 30 minutes
RESULTS

After the cake was cooked, I continued to cut the cake and arranged it on a serving plate. When the cake came out of the oven, it was very fragrant. Anyone who passed in front of the house would smell the aroma. I also didn't forget to share some pieces of cake with my neighbors.
