Thank you to every one who has loved and supported me thus far. Especially @zakludick who has moved heaven and earth (and our bedroom around) to make me feel better.
The new bedroom arrangement was very strange to start and I was worried about tripping over the bed in the night, but I have settled in nicely and realized the bed is in a much better position.
The last few weeks have been... tough. With @zakludick finally finishing up with his studies and @Matthew-Williams's 13 birthday, I have been turned upside down, waking and studying at night and only going to sleep at 8am when everyone leaves.
I feel discombobulated...
@zakldick has also changed our bedroom around, which a day or two later, made me realize that a change is as good as a holiday, even if things ffelt a little scary and out of place to start.
Last night was the first time I went to bed and slept right through the night. It's been weeks really. I woke up just before 7 which is the latest I have managed to sleep in ages. Hopefully, it's a sign that I am returning to some sort of reality.
I have also been hit hard by my monthlies. I actually thought I was going through menopause, but I have had a period from hell, showing me that everything is still very active. It's not that I want more children, rather, I was uncomfortable ad scared that the option was being taken away from me. It made me feel ... old and useless.
Anyway, the bedroom now looks beautiful and instead of staring at the cupboards, I now have a direct view out of the windows. It's very refreshing. Also, Matthew's red velvet cake turned out brilliantly, never mind that it was my first attempt at a red velvet cake! You would never guess! I will post the recipe later this week.
So Matthew is now 13. Gosh, what a shock to the system. I had Matthew when I was 27 and it's still a huge hurdle to overcome that my baby is growing up so fast.
Anyway, as promised in the title, I am going to do a recap of my mental health
