There is this story we were always told when we were still children about Lot's wife that looked back and turned to a pillar of salt and our parents used it to instill fear in us not to disobey but to always listen to instructions, today's case is a different aspects of looking back far different from what happened to her, with that in mind I would like to usher all the wonderful Ladies in this platform official to this new month, this is my first post in the platform since the beginning of this blessed month so this is me saying Happy New Month to every lady out there, it hasn't been easy but we keep moving.

So for today I would be participating on the contest topic which says Looking Back — Moving Forward" We often reflect on what we have accomplished; how will you use this knowledge to keep moving forward? My first take would be from the looking back aspect which is not about the physical looking back but rather it means searching through going through memories, achievement, experiences or event that has happened in the past. At some cases I see people who already have set goals to attain at so so period in life while some others just keep moving in any direction life might take them and it is at this junction of looking back that one tends to reflect on what she has been engaging in, has it been fruitful, was it worth my trail, should I do it again and it's at this point that such person tend to evaluate certain things that counts in her life.

It is still at the process of looking back that such person see her fault, errors or mistakes and try not to follow such part again, it is also at this point that you weight what you have done and what is left to be achieved and after doing all that and even more during the process of looking back such person do not just remain there but rather pick what so ever is needed for the journey and go. Sometimes because we have looked back and seen those mistakes that looked foolish and cause us alot we tend to stop moving and remain sober which at that point is another foolish step to take, yes it is okay to be remorseful and all that but just like before, you pick your pieces and keep moving using that as a pushing force to achieve greater heights.

And the method I use when I look back is that no matter how bad or good it has been I would use the lesson learned to be a better version me, if I worked in a place before and I indulge in somethings that made people not to trust, when I look back I tend to do things differently that is if I want to be a better version of myself, I try to be transparent, straight forward, and sincere with they people around me so as not to repeat what happened before, I disengage myself from whatsoever that would implicate me and doing such I would be different from who I was back then. If I had learned one or two skills, started working as a self employed person, looking backwards now I would be seeing my struggles to reach where I am now and that would be a push force for me to keep going no matter the difficult now.

Most of the times when I look back there are not much accomplishment that I have done and when I look at my mates I would see that they have gone way ahead of me but because I haven't given up and am still striving I tend to use that as an encouragement for myself that there's still a light at the end of the tunnel, and to you that think you haven't gone far which discourages you I would like to tell you that all fingers are not equal so is our journey in life, your own season is on its way.
