I think it would depend on the type of grief and the circumstances, loneliness I guess... Currently, I don't see myself in that situation... I have always thought that my husband will outlive me.
After 48 years of marriage and we have both had very difficult health situations. I can tell you @ifarmgirl that maybe I would have another relationship "But from the inside" I would definitely not get married again.
I would be aware of the origin and time.
My story does not change, and there are things that are not forgotten, but they can be re-signified, because they are carried in the gaze, in the body, in fatigue.

Thinking about that, @ifarmgirl, what questions, about getting married after being widowed, is an anguish of the mystery that surrounds us to be fulfilled in this life and reminds us how inevitable death is and the brevity of life.
It forces us to be grateful, to give up arrogance, to dwell on the simplicity of the everyday and the greatness of those who are with us. Above all, when we don't have any pending, and we are free, they are things that make us believe in love, which gives meaning to our existence.
The perception of being alone, you could have it even in the middle of a big party, only your inner reconciliation will give you inner peace. When you are at peace you appreciate solitude.
I also believe, and I don't.I throw in broken sack, that every transformation begins when someone tells you "you are not alone". Who knows?
This question is like the sunrise and sunset, it is honored and integrated, as part of the great circle of life.
I share with you this Magnificent Medinilla, it is Filipino, it bloomed this week, in the back garden.

It is not a matter of age, but of attitude and desire to try another relationship and this widowing can happen to us at any age, now women and men after the age of 60, we are brave and daring, to carry on a love life.
