When I read the first question of this week's prompt, I knew that I was going to jump in because it resonated with me deeply. So here's my take on the question. Do enjoy reading it.
I have a strong affinity for dark colored outfits - black, navy, brown, purple, dark grey, name it. Yeah, dark colors got something on me, I must confess. Lol.
Walk me into a boutique overflowing with colorful outfits, my gaze will land on the dark pieces first, no matter how hidden they are. 😅 Little wonder my wardrobe is screaming all dark. Call it moody wardrobe or is it gothic. Whichever it is, I love it.
And the funny thing is that my preference for dark colors isn't just about my clothing - foot wears, bags, caps, are also a party to it. Call me a dark chic and you won't be wrong. Lol.
Well, I'm very much aware that dark colors are associated with mourning or bereavement, in some cultures, but that got nothing on me. For me, dark colors represent style, elegance, power, luxury, or wealth, and professional inclination. They're calm, classic and versatile.
I can't say for sure how and when my love relationship with dark colors started. Hehehe. The thing is, dark colors have always been my thingy. They've always resonated with me right from when I could make a choice of outfits, and I've grown accustomed to incorporating them into my style.
However, I think my affinity for dark colors, especially black makes me feel more confident and put together, especially given my slender frame. Yes, Black is my favorite color and I glow more when I'm clad in black outfits. 😍
I could also pin it to my minimalist lifestyle and approach to fashion. Dark colors are versatile, easy to pair, and with them, I can create multiple looks without needing a vast array of colors – it's all about simplicity and ease. The whole idea is having less but creating beautiful multiple looks out of it. 😅
Moreover, dark colors tend to absorb more heat. That could also explain why I prefer wearing them since they offer the needed warmth, especially during cold seasons.
Now that you know what a dark aesthetic enthusiast I am, I hope you'll be sending those dark colored outfits my way. 😅

Dark coloured outfits truly keep warm and you look good in them.
I am a versatile person and so my wardrobe is filled with versatile colours in my wardrobe but I think I'm more inclined to brighter colours and shades.
Thank you. You know, your kind of job deserves more brighter colors. It wouldn't be nice to appear before your pupils always clad in dark colors. They might not feel at ease, since kinda love colorful shades. !BBH
