Navy Blue and Black are the most common colors in my wardrobe. Hello everyone, how are you? I hope you're all doing well. Recently, I've been thinking about changing my fashion and clothing colors. Besides wanting a change in my life, I've also noticed that some of the clothes I wear seem "dark." Why?
The clothes in my wardrobe are dominated by black, navy, blue, and gray. I only wear a few shades of white because I wear them for work. All of these colors feel very dark and colorless. However, when paired with my skin, they make it look less vibrant. Why is this happening?
Long before the pandemic, I weighed almost 70 kilograms. This started with late-night eating, coffee, and staying up late. This had an impact on my weight. With a weight of almost 70 kilograms, I received a bit of teasing from those around me. This teasing made me feel insecure about wearing brightly colored clothes.
In fact, at that weight, I was considered a heavy eater. However, during the early stages of the pandemic, I managed to lose 65 kilograms. However, I'm still overweight. As a result, this condition leads me to always choose dark-colored clothing.
Dark colors make my body look slightly smaller, especially in photos. This condition also leads me to collect a lot of black, navy blue, and gray clothes. For years, I've been insecure in brightly colored clothing. This makes my body look fat.
Recently, I've been looking into personal color analysis. Of course, I've tried free online apps. If I have the budget, I'll go to a professional for a test. On the other hand, my friends always tell me that my skin and body are fair, so they think dark colors don't suit me.
This year is the time for me to change my fashion, including the colors of my clothes. I'll be wearing slightly brighter colors. In the past, when I changed my fashion, I didn't change much. I just switched to more t-shirts, outerwear, and hoodies. I also swapped jeans for dress pants.
This year, my weight reached 51.5 kilograms. I've reached my ideal weight. Some clothes also feel looser. The reasons for changing fashion have increased. That's all I can tell you. See you again in the next story.
