LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, BOYS AND GIRLS… I’VE GOT SOME FREAKING AWESOME NEWS FOR YOU!!!

Sooooo… I know, I know...I’m a girl writing about Splinterlands. And yes, before you ask, I do have a husband who dragged me into this world. Some girls might say, “Ohh poor thing…” 😅

BUT actually...no! His insane enthusiasm and the way he talks about this game… I mean, it was IMPOSSIBLE not to get curious. I even wrote an article before about how I started playing. Don’t worry, I won’t bore you with the whole story again, just a tiny backstory so you get why I’m writing this now.

Flashback time!

So, my man starts playing Splinterlands. Convinces some friends. They all go crazy about it. Meanwhile, I’m just sitting there like, “Can I have five minutes of peace?” nope. Impossible. Apartment life means I heard everything. All-day. Every day.

And yep, I got jealous. Like a kid watching other kids play with a toy they can’t touch. Sooo I told him, “Set me up, mister!” He got me an account, bought me some cards, and boom...I started playing. I was like a kid on Christmas morning. Or birthday? 😊 😂

Pretty sure I started with BETA cards. I learned the game, learned what all those powers meant, and I actually got good! Not gonna lie..I even gave my cards cute names ( I mean...I’m a girl...it’s allowed!). Fell in love with the Death, Water, and Dragon splinters. Nature too. My little baby chicken and cup-head cutie? ICONIC. 😍

But then... life got messy. I stopped playing so much. Too much stress, not enough cards, and let’s be real...supporting two accounts is tough when you want good cards (and also, they need to be cute, duh). 😜

Eventually, I stepped back. My husband took over my account. I thought I was done...

UNTIL...

"Baby… you remember what you said about the game needing to be simpler for new players?"

I was like: "Wait… what?!"

They actually did it?!

A whole new beginner-friendly version of the game. A freaking TUTORIAL MODE ( CAMPAIGN). You start slow, learn the basics, earn cards as you go. NO NEED TO BUY ANYTHING. You just play. Win challenges. Get FREE CARDS. Three per challenge. Up to three times a day = 15 GAMES = potentially 3 FREE CARDS A DAY. 🎁

LIKE HELLO?! THIS IS THE DREAM. (Haha, Barney Stinson)

So, I reactivated my account and told my husband: “Shut up. Don’t help me. Don’t breathe. I want to test this myself.”

And let me tell you...

🥹 IT. IS. AMAZING.

Every level teaches you something new. I forgot most powers, but the game explains everything again as you go. I was giggling, kicking ass, learning again...and yes, maybe screaming a little when I lost some tough battles. 😅 I mean, at one point I had to beat a card with 55 freakin' health! But I got it. I did it. Seventh try, maybe. Who’s counting? 😜

And while I was happily clicking, learning, celebrating, my husband was pacing around like a nervous dad at a dance recital. He kept saying, “You already know this stuff!” And I’m like, “BRO. No. Let me enjoy my rebirth!” 😂

The best part? It really works for new players. You’re not just thrown in the deep end anymore. You learn, step by step. It's fun. It's addicting. And yes...it’s totally free to start.

So I kept playing… and guess what happened when I opened my first treasure box after winning five games?

The box starts SHAKING. 🎁

OH. MY. GOD.

🔥 GOLD. LEGENDARY. MONSTER. CARD. 🔥

I was freaking out. My husband just stood there like: “It feels like a f**k you in my face.” 😂 Poor guy. But also...HAHAHA YESSS.

And now? I’m hooked again. I’ve even called my brother to tell him, “Yo, remember when you said you wanted to earn money gaming? Guess what? Splinterlands just made that possible WITHOUT BUYING CARDS.”

He already has an account. Just didn’t play much. But now? No excuses. He’s got a party with gamer friends next week, and yep...I’m on a mission. Recruit them all. 😎

So… @splinterlands team...YOU DID IT. I love it. I’m back. And this time, with full force.

Now one small thing... I need YOUR advice.

My husband and I are fighting (playfully, don’t worry 😅) over this golden legendary card.

So, what do you think I should do:

1. Keep it and play it like a queen?

2. Sell it and buy a BF card (yes, Black Foil… I’m cool now)?

3. Sell it for Hive Power?

4. Split it 50/50: Half Hive, half new cute cards?
