Namaste to all fellow players of Splinterlands!
In this week's Community Engagement Challenge will focus on an exciting new update for Splinterlands. Just last week, we were voting on the name of this latest battle mode, and now it's finally part of Splinterlands, and it is known as Frontier.🔥
Frontier is a battle mode where only Foundation cards can be used.
This is a free-to-play mode where all new and old players can compete against each other using the new Foundation card set. But to get the core cards of this Foundation set, first you have to complete the campaign for which you have to click on the Campaign option from the PLAY menu on the homepage.
I really liked this Waur Medge Academy's first animated video. Knowing that it is an academy might make you think that it would be boring, but it is not so. I would say that you should watch the video with headphones on because it will take you back to the old Cartoon Network era. 😊
In the first campaign video, you will get information about the new card set and also some light humor doses. The video is about a journey to the Academy. It is a whole story that will entertain you a lot. A great Hollywood movie series can be made on Splinterlands, and who knows, in the future, we may actually see a Splinterlands movie series even greater than Harry Potter.🔥
After completing each chapter, a core card will become part of your deck with which you will then battle, and you will probably lose initially, as you will have fewer cards than the enemy, so it is important that you complete the campaign and add all the core cards to your deck
You do not need to buy a spellbook to play in this battle mode; however, you will need a spellbook to join the in-game economy and buy/sell/transfer, etc. Another great thing about this mode is that both you and your opponent will enter the battlefield with the same deck, meaning your strategies will be tested well here and as much as I played in this mode, I think playing in this battle mode will be very exciting not only for new players but also for pro players and with this, new players will be able to enjoy the real thrill of this game even without buying a spellbook. There are essentially 3 daily quests every day - each quest has 5 battles that need to be won 3 times, which adds up to a total of 15 wins per day, which is a very difficult task for a new player like me. A new player may not even be able to complete the daily quests, but that is the thrill of the game; if it becomes easy then it will not be as fun. Like other leagues, the more you advance in this, the better your rewards will be and as soon as you reach the Gold League, which is currently at the top, the number of your Major and Ultimate Chests will also increase, but it will take time because as I said earlier, it is not easy at all, but it is guaranteed that you will also enjoy it a lot.🔥
Overall, I liked this new battle mode and all its cards very much. Of course, there will be bottles with the same set in this mode, but with new cards and archons, the old strategies will not work as they are, meaning it will be fun to play here with improvements in strategies. Apart from this, winning its daily quest will also be challenging. I cannot say right now whether I will be able to do it or not, but it will definitely be fun.
If you also want to enjoy this amazing game and you have not yet signed up, then I invite you to Splinterlands, and I will also try my best to guide you in this game. 😎
