From today, premium accounts are now available on the Skate Hype skateboarders app. They can obtain premium accounts through a normal way of 3HBD monthly subscription using a recurrent_transfer, configured with 720hours (30day) and 24 executions (2 years).
And extra way that is a participation with more than 1000HP in our custom Hive Curation Trail.
The verification was performed by a cronjob checking for condenser_api.get_accounts for every hive user that participates in our Custom Hive Curation Trail with more than 1000HP.
Beyond the fact of this simple programming, this is a way to encourage users to hold Hive. With upvoting, they get up to an 11+ APR, but now they also get a premium account that should come with special features that will make users not power down, at least, for his first 1000HP.
For our app, the custom Hive Vote Trail is also managed by a cronjob that upvotes to scheduled posts, as can be seen in: https://peakd.com/c/hive-106687/created, this have been working for years. Note that non-Skate Hype users can also participate and earn a 11+ APR from 15HP and beyond.
Upvoting is based on Posting operation, then, in order to participate, users should grant Posting operation to skatehype.com Hive account, also set a percentaje of participation (optional).
The centralized app should validate app users to ensure that every Hive user corresponds to a real person (KYC), and if needed, create a Hive user, grant posting, subscribe, delegate RC and follow all at once to be ready for Hive Curation Trail. Then, the Hive Curation Trail should ensure all users are rewarded in a completely fair and automated way (or any way that your gaming app consider)
With the combination of a centralized app and Hive Blockchain we can create, not only a reward system for our app, but also a reason to hold and participate in order to get a premium account.
