Hey guys, I finally managed to complete this video game that gave me a few scares in its dystopian and mysterious world full of nightmares, or rather “little nightmares,” which is what this video game is called.
After about four hours of playing, I reached the end, which I hope to share with you so we can discuss the final boss, whom the community of fans of this game describes as “the lady.”

As this is the last chapter of the game, I want to take a moment to clarify that it is one of the most peaceful chapters I have experienced, as it does not complicate matters with puzzles to solve, but simply gets to the point by requiring you to find a key hidden in a vase.
While searching for this elusive key, I walked cautiously, as I could hear a female choir singing in the room.
)Those chants were being sung by a thin woman dressed in Japanese clothing who was looking at herself in a mirror, or rather, what little remained of it. Although the detail of the mirror may seem silly, it is key later on in order to complete this adventure.
)On the nightstand, I found the vase with the key inside, which I broke to get it out. I hid cautiously for a while, because I thought that woman would come and kill me.
)
)Well, to put it in context, I was watching this character called “the lady,” who is like a being with a lot of power that controls all the other monsters in this place by absorbing the power and energy of others, including the little ones who are lost in this world.
Now, remember the mirror I told you about? I found one in a dark place. In fact, it's the only mirror in good condition. This one will serve as a weapon because this lady doesn't like her reflection.

As it was my first time facing her, I couldn't understand her movements, so after trial and error, I managed to understand that I had to stand precisely in the light and then point the mirror directly in the direction where this being would appear.
)
Here you will see how the mirror proved useful to me after I understood how to use it.

A strong shock wave from the mirror caused the woman to weaken with each attempt she made to kill me.

In the end, in a very symbolic way, the little boy I controlled from the beginning ended up eating part of this woman's neck, a disturbing moment, but comforting at the same time, since we will see how we then seem to absorb her powers in order to leave that place.
)
Since the power to defend ourselves is no longer an issue, this little boy now walks out the door that leads to a warm light. Although the video game can be interpreted from different perspectives, I would like to emphasize the fact that at the beginning we see that the boy in the yellow hood is trapped in a world where the strongest survive and abuse their powers, eating without satisfying their hunger and leaving scraps for the smallest ones.
But in the end, we see that after a long journey in which we face these “little nightmares,” our character becomes stronger and stronger, overcoming his greatest fears and showing us that even when everything is against us, and we feel small in the face of adversity, we must never give up on discovering the light that guides us.

And now that I mention the light that guides us, at the end of the credits, I saw how this whole place that the lady controlled is actually an island in the middle of nowhere, but as a consolation, you can hear the sound of a ship that will probably save us from this place.
