I've been playing Skyrim again lately, and you might ask: Skyrim in 2025? That's right, folks. I've played other games, and I think that except for Elder Ring or Cyberpunk 2077, no other world is as charming to explore as Skyrim, so I decided to give it another go, adding mods to improve its quality of life. Here's a little preview.
First, I know there are people who don't like to add mods to the game, and that's fine, but personally, I love changing things in Skyrim, and since I'm playing the Legendary Edition (which isn't the best for mods), I've only added simple things that are necessary to play more smoothly.
One of the first things I changed was the interface, making it darker and cleaner, which simplifies many aspects of the base game. I also added spells and shouts, as well as new sounds to the game and graphical improvements to the world.
Something that seemed necessary to me was the option to start the game differently than the typical carriage: “You've finally awakened,” ha ha ha, so I used a mod to have a random start in every sense, which led me to appear in:
A sawmill near Riften with only 27 gold and two iron daggers, which is honestly one of the worst starts to my games because I'm not used to playing with daggers, let alone in both hands, but I took it as a challenge and took my first mission right at the sawmill house, whose owner had disappeared, leaving his wife and children alone.
One mod I forgot to mention is one that adds more creatures to the world, which makes it seem more alive, but it also has its disadvantages, such as when I left the sawmill at night, after walking for a short while, I had to face a pack of four wolves that almost killed me at the beginning of the game, haha.
But after surviving and healing myself, I continued on my way and, for a change, a small group of thieves tried to rob me (LATAM moment), but I managed to defeat them and continue on my way. However, surviving with daggers on the way to a city became quite complicated because they don't allow me to do the damage I want, and the thieves didn't have good weapons.
Obviously, I want to see how far I can get with this strange and complicated start because, although I want to level up and get better things, I want to take this game slowly and role-play the character calmly.
For now, I'll try to get to Riften and start with the thieves' guild to improve my light armor and archery skills, but where I left the game, I don't know if I made it safely, because I noticed that there were some vampires attacking a farm, and that scenario doesn't look promising, ha ha ha.

Estos días he vuelto a jugar Skyrim y me preguntaran: ¿Skyrim en 2025? asi es amigos, he jugado otros juegos y creo que exceptuando a Elder Ring o Cyberpunk 2077 ningún otro mundo tiene tanto encanto de recorrer como el Skyrim asi que decidi darle una vuelta añadiendo mods para mejorar su calidad de vida, asi que aqui les muestro un poco.
Primero, se que hay gente que no les gusta añadirle mods al juego y eso está bien, pero personalmente me encanta cambiarle cosas a Skyrim y como estoy jugando la Edición Legendaria( la cual no es la mejor para mods) solo le he puesto cosas simples pero que sean necesarias para jugar más fluidamente.
De las primeras cosas que le cambié fue su interfaz con una más oscura y limpia, lo cual simplifica muchísimas cosas del juego base,también añadí hechizos y gritos, además de nuevos sonidos al juego y mejoras gráficas del mundo.
Algo que me parecía necesario fue la opción de iniciar la partida de manera diferente al típico carruaje: “Al fin has despertado” jajaja, asi que utilice un mod para tener un comienzo aleatorio en todo sentido lo cual me llevó a aparecer en:
Un aserradero cerca de Riften con solo 27 de oro y dos dagas de hierro lo cual honestamente es uno de los peores inicios de mis partidas pues no estoy acostumbrado a jugar con dagas y mucho menos en ambas manos, pero lo tomé como un desafío y tomé mi primera misión justo en la casa del aserradero cuyo dueño había desaparecido dejando a su esposa e hijos solos.
Un mod que se me había olvidado mencionar es uno que incluye más criaturas al mundo, lo cual lo hace parecer más lleno de vida, pero también trae sus desventajas, como que al salir del aserradero de noche, al poco de caminar me tocó enfrentarme a una manada de 4 lobos los cuales casi me matan comenzando el juego jaja.
Pero luego de sobrevivir y curarme, seguí avanzando por el camino y para variar un pequeño grupo de ladrones quisieron robarme( momento LATAM) pero logre derrotarlos y seguir mi camino, eso si, el tema de sobrevivir con las dagas de camino a una ciudad se complicó bastante porque no me permite hacer el daño que quiero y los ladrones no tenían armas buenas.
Obviamente quiero ver hasta donde llegó con este inicio tan raro y tan complicado porque si bien quiero subir de nivel y tener mejores cosas, quiero llevar esta partida con calma y rolear tranquilamente el personaje.
De momento intentaré llegar a Riften y empezar con el gremio de ladrones para mejorar las habilidades de armadura ligera y tiro con arco, pero donde deje el juego no se si logré llegar a salvo, pues note que habian unos vampiros atacando una granja y no se ve prometedor ese escenario jajaja.
