Hey gamers and game lovers
Welcome back to another blog post from @southgamer. As you all know, my blog is all about gaming and anything game-related. After work today, I decided to kick-start my PS5, as it had been a couple of days since I last played a PS5 game - I think it was three days or more. I am not so sure anymore. All thanks to Lichess, my new obsession.

I played BloodHunt, as it has been a while since I gave you guys an update on my development in this game. Bloodhunt is a battle combat version game for vampires, but this time you hunt down other players who are vampires as well.
One unique feature I like about the game is the different battle modes; you can go on a solo hunt or a team battle, which is what I played today. I chose the battle royale mode, where you are in a team of two and you get to hunt down other players.

Before it escapes my mind, I also got a couple of rewards which I opened when I launched the game. It is nothing special, only a couple of piercings and probably a new outfit for my character. I did not bother to check when I noticed it was an outfit. I was thinking it would be a new gun or some special power or anything that could be of special advantage to me. But it was not.
)
My first shot at playing battle royale, I was lucky to get paired with a very good teammate, and together we were able to last long in the game. I think we are first in second place out of 21 other teams. Here is the strategy we used. I do not know if there is a means of communicating with your teammate in Bloodhunt, but it would be so cool if we could.

Instead, we moved together. I made sure I did not give my teammate much distance since I am not so good at the game yet, and this helped. Whenever we got ambushed by another team, it was hard for them since they were scattered. While they might be shooting at my teammate, I will be there replying with my shooting. It is hard to bring us down when we are both striking at the same time.
)
With this guide, we stayed long in the game compared to the other players. I even unlocked some new trophies thanks to our impressive performance.

The second time I played again, I did not get the same teammate I had previously; instead, someone who jumped from one place to another, leaving me undefended and too late to revive me when I was taken down. Though my teammate tried to come to my rescue, but along the way he got hit as well. For the second round, we finished 4th, which is not all bad if you ask me.
