Today is the 13th anniversary of the game Clash of Clans, which means on this day 13 years ago, the game was released to the public for all to play.
On getting the game notification from the game app while at work, I became curious to find out more about this clashiversary and what it means for Clash of Clans gamers.
So I watched their latest video about their anniversary on their YouTube channel page. Mind you, it's funny. Made in a cartoon with all the characters you use when raiding another village in the game.

The birthday celebration for the game didn't stop there. They also gave out giveaways to their Clash of Clans players. Millions of game coins and elixirs. When I opened my game app, I was greeted with 7 million plus coins, 5 million plus elixir, and 50 thousand plus dark elixirs.

Although I currently have some builds ongoing that will take a couple of hours before it is completed. A part of me feels down that I didn't get to use these gifts immediately on bigger buildings that need upgrades. Without saying much, I'm hopeful that before the end of the day or bedtime, a couple of my buildings should be ready to go, giving more space to build more.

For the development in my town, they have come a pretty long way compared to when I started. Now I'm a player of 46 reputation, moving closer to 50. Two different villages with gradual developments ongoing on each of them, and an army of about 215 soldiers at my disposal for raids, and a strong clan backing my attacks.
My Reputation and Clan
So far these are my villages and what started as watching an ad about the game, has now been converted into something where I have villages. That's the fun of playing video games. You never know how much you can achieve within a short period.
Also, the clash of clans scenery came with an upgrade, making it more cartoon-like like which looks aesthetic to the eyes. It's like playing a video game cartoon and still enjoying it at the same time.
If you are a Clash of Clans gamer, go check your treasury chest for your free coins and elixirs before the enemies come raiding.

This game is still alive? I thought it was gone long ago. My daughter used to play it and I barely see anyone playing it in my country. But to be honest it's a good game, amazing post.

I must have been in it right from the start, it was very popular, it would be great if they move to hive !LOL I wonder if it will be around for another 13.
Moving to hive will be a great move and I bet they will be around for another 13 years.
