I don't know if this means that I need more vacations. Or travels. Or both. But my mind does wonder frequently to my nearest vacation times. So, #monomad challenge rememberance time it is, then!

Funny enough, it is always the nature part I remember the most, even if it's found among the concrete jungle, as it is the case in this amazing Tirana city park - and definitely my favourite photo in all this set!

Having learned a little more of the history of a country basically unknown to me, I'm actually more certain that it's in nature that we find the beauty part.

Not far off from the center, a dim litted tunnel takes you to a place in history that shouldn't have happened, but unfortunately did. And it's actually good that these places remain, as a reminder of the parts of history that shouldn't be repeated.
)
Seeing how the world is evolving (and in my opinion, humanity regressing), we need these reminders more than ever.
But although the monomad look can make us see these photos in a "greyer" tone, I prefer to keep this lighter. Because after all, it's on the beauty that we should be focusing. And sure enough, the country has plenty of it. Crystal clear mountain waters? Check.

The peak summers months aren't the wisest choice for vacations in the coastal areas, and the scorching heat doesn't make mountain trails a great alternative. But shoulder season has to be an amazing time to visit, and I know I've left a ton of places to explore. Not even getting started on the wildlife, either! I was fortunate enough to get some decent observations, but it just felt too little.

The solution? Easy... just checking when will my next free time be! ;)
