Sometimes going around the neighborhood is not just about going to the beach and taking photos of the scenery. That is a lot of what I do. However, on some weird occasions I get to interact with some of the animals that are roaming the streets in the early hours of dawn.
That was the case with this dog and the cat. The cat I had seen during my laps. The dog came out of nowhere when I decided to photograph the kitten. At first, I did not realize the cat's state of awareness was because the dog was getting closer. I could see the tension building up. I did not pay attention to it since I wanted the photo.
When I finally decided to take the photo, I felt something could and moist touch me on my forearm. I did my best not to flinch. And then I saw the dog just beside me. It has this sad expression. And it was a good thing I did not make any sudden moves to startled it. I tend to have this problem of hitting dogs by accident when I walk and they get too close to my heels. It is a big problem. It makes me feel bad since they are just picking my scent.
I petted the doggy and then it stood still so I could get another photograph on the same spot. Then I kept going my way until it was time to go back home to work out.
These random encounters are all that's good in life!
