Durante los últimos 7 meses mi escape mental luego de la rutina laboral ha sido entrenar en el gimnasio, pero estas últimas semanas decidí tomarme un descanso de las pesas, básicamente porque estoy esperando pacientemente a que mis dos nuevos tatuajes cicatricen bien y porque quería aprovechar para dedicar mi energía y tiempo a otros hobbies que son igual de importantes para mí. Así que durante estas dos ultimas semanas invertí tiempo durante mis tardes a tomar los marcadores y las acuarelas y experimentar a ver qué resultaba.

A pesar de que durante los fines de semana procuro dedicar tiempo a mis actividades artísticas, no es lo mismo disponer del tiempo durante la semana para hacer eso. Durante los fines de semana hay tantas cosas que deseo hacer que el tiempo a veces no me rinde, así que poder tomar un respiro durante estas semanas para dedicarme a crear fue lo mejor que pude hacer.

Aún sigo un poco enfrascada con los patrones de flores, ¡me resultan tan preciosos! Estuve trabajando en estos dos durante dos días seguidos cada uno y el resultado simplemente me encantó. También estoy tratando de practicar un poco agregando detalles, como sombreados con otras tonalidades del mismo color y destellos en blanco. De verdad que los detalles marcan una diferencia asombrosa y elevan los garabatos a otro nivel.

For the last 7 months my mental escape after the work routine has been working out at the gym, but these last few weeks I decided to take a break from the weights, basically because I am patiently waiting for my two new tattoos to heal well and because I wanted to take the opportunity to dedicate my energy and time to other hobbies that are just as important to me. So during these last two weeks I invested time during my afternoons to take the markers and watercolors and experiment to see what would turn out.

Although during the weekends I try to dedicate time to my artistic activities, it's not the same as having the time during the week to do that. During the weekends there are so many things I want to do that sometimes I don't have time, so being able to take a break during these weeks to dedicate myself to creating was the best thing I could do.

I'm still a bit engrossed in the flower patterns, they are so precious to me! I was working on these two for two days in a row each and I just loved the results. I'm also trying to practice a bit adding details, like shading with other shades of the same color and white highlights. Really, the details make an amazing difference and elevate the doodles to another level.
