Reading through the description of this prompt, I kept wondering, is there a skill that is easy to learn? The human brain works in miraculous ways, what is difficult for one person to learn might be easy for another but even at that, every skill have its own difficulties. If there is a skill so easy to learn without any bit of difficulty, everyone would definitely have such a skill but then what do I know about humans? Some humans are so complex that mastering proper table manners as a skill, they still fail at it. When it comes to learning something I'm always eager to learn. The reason is that I believe the more I know the more valuable I become. It is one of the few things that makes me feel good about myself knowing the things I'm capable of doing but then, despite my willingness to learn there are just somethings that aren't meant for some categories of people to learn even if it doesn't cost anything. I find it really strange that i can wish for something and still don't know it yet.
Have you ever been in a church and looking around there is no instrumentalist, everyone is looking at you since you happens to be the only young male around and everyone just suddenly assume that you would be capable of playing at least one instrument even if it is just a drum? I can't imagine what you are thinking but this is exactly the kind of situation I have been many times. Sadly it has affected my self pride a lot, how is it possible that I can't play any instrument apart from a bell 🔔? So if I were to pick a skill to learn within a month, the kind of skill that looks easy, it would definitely be learning how to play an instrument. It can be drums, guitar, keyboard, violin e.t.c except trumpet, I have no interest in that. Anytime I watch people play trumpet, it suddenly feels like their throat might burst, it is terrifying. I have said it many times, I'm a lover of music, Trying to nurture this unyielding passion for music instruments, there was one in particular that caught my attention which was guitar, A beautiful piece of art. I was lucky enough to have a friend around me that is a guitarist I seek his advice, so he encouraged me to give it a try. He gave me a lot of tutorial videos that would assist me along the way but I never knew I had some sort of physical challenge that will prevent me from achieving my dream of becoming a guitarist.
There has been lot of times when people criticize the soft nature of my skin, I guess there is this wild belief that men should be muscular but that doesn't apply to me, my skin is really soft and the tips of my fingers is like butter. So whenever I practice the guitar my fingers hurt a lot, I tried coping with it thinking it will get better over time but I was wrong. I tried practicing by using other objects on the strings but I was not really good enough to make use of those object. At some point my passion for it drifted away. It wasn't easy letting it go, seeing how much time and effort I have invested in making sure it worked. Whenever I see the guitar In my room, all that comes to my mind is "A failed dream" it was a tormenting thought. In order to relieve my self of this burden, I took the guitar and sold it. I thought to myself, finally I can let go and moved on to the next but instead of that my interest shifted to another music instrument which is the piano, a keyboard Musial instrument. the perfect tool for my distinctive nature.
I'm not sure if it is trauma from my last failed attempt or procrastination, I just know for years I have been unable to find the perfect time to start learning how to play piano, I made a lot of excuse which seems relevant and understandable to me, which is pin pointed on the fact that I'm busy, too busy to embark on a dream I'm passionate about. I made a pledge earlier this year that I was going to learn piano no matter what it takes but still it didn't happen. It is so embarrassing when I see almost every kid in church capable of playing a specific instrument and I'm unable to play any. So if some miracle were to occur and I'm given the privilege to learn a skill within a month, I will really love to learn how to play any instrument of value, at least to stop to looking like a girly in church.

Learning musical instrument is one thing that could earn you a place in your church and also give you the ample opportunity to be sought for if you turn out to be good at it. You know, instrument like sax, trumpet, guitar and piano is well sort for in our time.
I would have love learn the piano because I love it so much but I really do not have spare time to learn it.
Good choice you have here.
Yeah I know, hopefully before I grow grey hair, I would be able to master one of the instruments of my choice.
Quite hilarious. Learning a skill has nothing to do with age though, when you put your mind at it, you will get what you want.
It increases one's value to have or know a skill. Oh, how sad it is that you made such a serious commitment but faced this challenge. I wanted to ask you if I should send you my address so you could bless my life with the guitar, but you have sold it already..lol. The keyboard will be perfect for your soft skin, and I advise you to put behind you your experience with the guitar and focus on learning the keyboard as you want to.
If possible, can you help me with links to the videos you were using to learn the guitar? Thank you in anticipation
Oh sold it long time ago 😅 exactly, that is why I chose to learn keyboard but I have unable to find the right time to learn it.
Well, the videos I was given wasn't links related, they were actual short videos given to me by a friend and I have no idea where he got it from, probably he downloaded it from somewhere.
was just kidding bro.. Okay, will find my way somehow.. thanks
