One of the Holy Books says: "He created them male & female". The existence of humanity in both gender is not a coincidence or an after thought, it was a well planned design. It will be out of place for a gender to be striving to do what it wasn't designed to do. By nature and design, no gender is all alone as each gender needs one another as each has a unique attribute and contribution towards one another. Take for example, it takes the combine efforts of both gender as married couple in a family for there to be children (offspring). Therefore, no gender is inferior to another.

The subject of gender equality arose when the female gender based on how been treated or predisposed to by certain religion, family, culture, ethnicity etc which they see danger in it and hence the need to speak out. Over time, some line of thoughts and believe as regards the female gender is somehow imbalance and hence, the resultant threat to this gender. Take for example, the issue of molestation, sexual abuse, discrimination/segregation and others negatively affect the female gender. In addition, some favouritism as regards the male gender even as it relates to leadership and governmental policies warranted such a call for gender equality.

In the light of the truth, gender equality which is a call for change based on unpalatable incidences/experiences is wrongly been pursued by some individuals. It has been taken too far in some quarters and has deviated from the intended purpose. Inasmuch as i think and agree that we the men needs to give women the accorded respect, honour and recognition, however, the call for gender equality should be sandwiched with understanding and discretion. Take for example, some fall out of unguided clamour for gender equality is the challenge of single parenting, even as many didn't believe in marriage/family again.

Talking about financial responsibility, the male gender takes a focal point even as the female gender should also work and support the family, even as both are good managers of their finances unto productivity. The panacea to this call for equality is in the rounded knowledge of the uniqueness of each gender and how each gender can dwell together without inadequate feeling or oppression. I believe that the best of humanity lies in we dwelling together in peace, mutually with gender, ethnicity, religion, race, affiliations notwithstanding.

In all, justice and fairness must be the watchword for each of us for us to have a sane community. Love is the greatest, love is the utmost, we need to dwell in love to live above differences and accepts one another gender notwithstanding. The negativities from unguided call for gender equality can be solved when we go for a rounded knowledge of the pupose and intent of each gender by the master creator. I believe in the uniqueness of each gender and in the diversity of lige as this makes life a beautiful place to live. Thanks so much for reading even as comments and contributions are welcomed.
