The Beauty of Al-Hikmah Mosque

By aquagelas on 8/3/2025

Hi Hivers!

Today, I'd like to invite you all to travel with me again. On this beautiful day, I don't want to travel too far because there's a beautiful mosque near where I live that I want to visit today. It's the Al-Hikmah Mosque, located on Jalan Buloh, Blang Weu Baroh Village, Blang Mangat District, Lhokseumawe City, Aceh, Indonesia.

Upon arriving at the mosque's courtyard, after a fairly long journey, I was immediately greeted by the sight of the minimalist mosque building with a silver dome on top. The entrance to the mosque is also designed with a very grand appearance, which I really enjoyed seeing.

To enter the main hall of the mosque, I had to climb several steps. The main hall is on the second floor, and the steps are also quite high, making it comfortable to climb slowly.

Upon arriving on the second floor of the mosque, I was immediately greeted by the beautiful interior. The interior of the mosque was clean and beautiful, with beautiful wall decorations. The pillars also featured a few beautiful gold trims. Being here truly left me in awe.

At the front of the room was a beautiful wooden pulpit. The combination of the beautiful pulpit and the decorative wall decorations around it truly captivated me. I personally loved the view from the front of the mosque.

Inside this beautiful mosque, I also noticed comfortable and clean prayer rugs, allowing every congregant to pray comfortably. There's also a donation box for easy almsgiving. There's also a Quran available for worshippers to take and read inside. Although the mosque is two-story and has an open-plan design, creating a cool atmosphere, fans are also provided to further cool the atmosphere.

In the courtyard on the right side of the mosque, I noticed beautiful green plants, adding to the beautiful scenery. On the left side of the courtyard, there's a place for ablution and restrooms for use by all congregants visiting the mosque.

The mosque's courtyard is spacious, making it convenient for parking. It's also located right on the main road. There's also a small hall in the courtyard that can be a comfortable resting place during your visit. I was truly delighted to have the opportunity to visit this beautiful mosque today. Hopefully, I can return another time.

And as it was getting late, I decided to head back home. This concludes my travel story to the Al-Hikmah Mosque today. Thank you to everyone who has visited my travel post today.
