Dear Hivers,
Welcome back to my blog. When a place is so beautiful it warms your heart, it's natural to want to visit it more than once. This is the case for me with Lake Cavazzo, which I've already talked about in the past, and of which I'm sharing some more photos today.
We're in the province of Udine, and it's the largest lake in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region. I was lucky enough to visit it during a short holiday in the region and was truly struck by its beauty.
Cari Hivers,
The most striking aspect is the clarity of the lake's azure waters, which reflect the beautiful Carnic Alps. A place where mountains and water meet perfectly!
I'm happy to have returned to visit this place because it inspires a great sense of serenity. My boyfriend and I had a picnic on the shores of the lake, where there are numerous rest areas.
I was also lucky enough to see some cute ducks swimming!
Unfortunately, speaking with locals, we discovered that the fauna has recently changed dramatically. This is due to the installation of a hydroelectric plant near the lake, which introduces a significant amount of cold water every day, resulting in a reduction in the number and types of animal species present.
Fortunately, however, there is a scientific center that deals with the introduction of species and monitors them through all stages of reproduction.
I'll leave you with some photos I took during my trip, which can only partially convey the beauty of this lake. Thanks for reading!
See you next time, Delilha

What a beautiful place, the colour of the water and the reflections are so pretty. I hope that the fauna will recover, we humans sometimes destroy the natural habitat of certain species so it is important it is monitored and make steps to bring back the natural balance.
I also hope for a fauna recover, it was very sad to hear about that. Thank you very much for the comment and have a nice day 😊❤️
A great day to you too ☺️
