After our feeding and joyful encounter with the colorful parrots, we continued our adventure into the zoo. Bojnice City has lots to offer and our hearts were already full from the magic of that day. We had no clue that our adventure in Bojnice wasn’t over yet. It led us to one of the most beautiful and visited attractions in town: Bojnice Zoo. The zoo is the most picturesque and the oldest zoo in the country of Slovakia.

Nestled behind the fairy-tale Bojnice Castle, the zoo is located among trees and gentle hills. The zoo offers a peaceful escape where nature, an outdoor space that inspires exploration and knowledge, education, and curiosity come together. The adventure began the moment we stepped inside and "Welcome to the wild."

Aya the explorer and at her age she loves adventures. And my husband told her. "Aya we have vlk or wolf in the zoo." And she responds she only wants to see the vlk. And she said, her voice filled with a surprising conviction and wide eyes. A real Tato—not in pictures. I want to see it personally. Because she only saw it on videos and photos.

Vlk is a Slovak word for wolf. She had it in her imagination and that thrilled her. And we're in the forest of Bojnice, a place that vlk has its on habitat. It was a quest for us, finding the wolf. We know it's there in the forest but if we were lucky enough to see it. Maybe they're hiding. Our family quest for that day.

As we began our adventure and walked through the zoo, the zoo showcased a variety of animals that were truly amazing. We walked along winding and tree-shaded paths. Spacious for the animals-natural looking habitats.

Bojnice Zoo is a relaxing and educational zoo. There are benches for resting and a perfect place to unwind. And offering informative facts about every species in both Slovak and English Language.

At first, we checked the map and traced our way where the wolves lived. Because Aya was fascinating where they are?... But before we go to the wolves, there are other animals we need to pass by. Our walk was longer than we expected and it's a big zoo. But it was all ok, it allowed us to explore so much more.

The place is safe for both animals and humans. I can say that they really protect the welfare of the animals. Each animal had the freedom to walk more freely. Bojnice Zoo is the zoo's design created a healthy and sustainable living space for the animals.

Our adventure starts with strolling around the zoo and before we started our quest of the wolves. We spend some time seeing and exploring the zoo’s incredible animals. It's our day to discover different species. And a place was a true kingdom for the animals.

It gives a joy to explore the zoo, Aya was thrilled to see all the animals up close. But she was more excited for the wolf.

We made it finally to the wolf enclosure, a forested area surrounded by fencing. And the visitors could observe the wolves in a high platform without disturbing their habitat. Other visitors go already and they don't have luck to see the wolf. We're still waiting. Aya says "Still no wolf mama."

It really tested her patience for the wolf to come. Still nothing, the staff came to give them food but there's no show.

Every corner Aya was searching. But the wolves were hiding or sleeping. But still Aya was not giving up. The wolf was our quest. We waited so our little traveler will be happy and her wish will be granted.

There was a movement and we found them. A magnificent creature and it was a truly breathtaking moment. The wolf we saw was coat a stunning mix of white and gray. Wolf striking eyes and strength was a true marvel of nature.

My Aya was so happy and completely captivated by what she saw. I even took a video of her. For my remembrance of Aya’s core memories. Her experience she will never forget.

It's time to leave the zoo. Her huge smile said "Best moments of my life" If she's happy, she always says that.

We're so grateful to share this kind of trip and Aya experience it. Aya explored other zoos before but when she got older she had on her mind what she wanted to see. And luckily, she saw the vlk and these moments are pure magic, priceless and unforgettable.
