Hello everyone! Did you know that if you're in Munich, you can visit museums on Sundays for just 1 euro?
This is the station (Königsplatz) where I stayed to get to the museums, as there are several in the area. The station also has sculptures and infographics about art:
Museum N° 1: Pinakothek der Moderne
Later this day there were a live performance, it was funny and eery at the same time
I liked this one!
Museum N° 2:
The glyptothek. The main exhibits here are ancient sculptures of various types, and I also liked the ceilings and architecture:
This is a nice space to be, however it had been a rainy and cold day, so they had put away the chairs:
Even though the sculptures and the space feel cold, I found this tour interesting. It's always interesting to see people's ability to sculpt incredibly detailed things, and how these pieces have survived for so long.
Museum N° 3, last one:
This is the Deutsches Museum, or The German Museum of Masterpieces of Science and Technology; but I couldn't get in because it closed at 5:30 pm, which was just the time I arrived. However, I managed to get to the reception desk and realized that it's not included in the museums that charge 1 euro, so on Sundays, admission costs the regular price. It's worth noting that this is one of the largest science and technology museums in the world in terms of exhibition space.
