Hola querida comunidad de Hive, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una caminata muy especial que realicé junto a mi gran amigo Jolu, su familia y, lo más emocionante, sus nietos, entre ellos Adam, quien visitaba Venezuela por primera vez. Esta ruta fue cuidadosamente elegida para ser de nivel bajo, ideal para que los niños pudieran disfrutar sin agotarse, y nos llevó a La Alcabala Los Cristales, en el hermoso estado Lara, un destino que ya conocía pero que esta vez redescubrí a través de los ojos de los más pequeños. Adam, nacido en el Líbano y residente en Nigeria, nos sorprendía con su simpatía y su forma de comunicarse, entendiendo perfectamente el español pero respondiendo siempre en inglés, lo que hizo cada conversación entrañable; su hermano mayor Ali, nacido aquí en Venezuela pero con una marcada entonación extranjera por su educación, disfrutó como nunca bañándose y explorando la naturaleza. Este viaje tuvo un valor emocional profundo, ya que Jolu me había contado muchas veces cuánto deseaba pasar tiempo con su hija y sus nietos, y verlo caminar rodeado de ellos fue un regalo para todos. También nos acompañaron Ángela, Bianca (hija de Jolu), Ralf y el pequeño Samuel, formando un grupo hermoso que compartió risas, historias, juegos y silencios llenos de significado. Esta caminata no solo fue una excursión al aire libre, sino un encuentro entre generaciones, culturas y afectos, donde la montaña fue testigo de un momento lleno de humanidad. Al final, comprendí que no siempre hay que ir lejos para vivir algo extraordinario: a veces, lo verdaderamente valioso es ver la felicidad en los ojos de otros y sentir que formas parte de esa alegría compartida.

English Version Hello dear Hive community, today I want to share with you a very special hike I took with my great friend Jolu, his family, and, most excitingly, his grandchildren, including Adam, who was visiting Venezuela for the first time. This route was carefully chosen to be low-level, ideal for the children to enjoy without getting exhausted, and took us to La Alcabala Los Cristales, in the beautiful state of Lara, a destination I already knew but this time rediscovered through the eyes of the little ones. Adam, born in Lebanon and living in Nigeria, surprised us with his friendliness and his way of communicating, understanding Spanish perfectly but always responding in English, which made every conversation endearing; his older brother Ali, born here in Venezuela but with a marked foreign accent due to his education, enjoyed himself like never before swimming and exploring nature. This trip had a deep emotional value, as Jolu had told me many times how much he wanted to spend time with his daughter and grandchildren, and seeing him walking surrounded by them was a gift for everyone. We were also accompanied by Angela, Bianca (Jolu's daughter), Ralf, and little Samuel, forming a beautiful group that shared laughter, stories, games, and meaningful silences. This hike was not just an outdoor excursion, but an encounter between generations, cultures, and affections, where the mountain witnessed a moment full of humanity. In the end, I understood that you don't always have to go far to experience something extraordinary: sometimes, what is truly valuable is seeing happiness in the eyes of others and feeling that you are part of that shared joy.
