When Xavi brought in some of these players, many accused him of just building a Spanish national team. Critics said he focused too much on Spanish talent.
But now — as one of those very players prepares to leave — we’re not happy about it. This is a lesson.
Let it remind us of something important:
─ Ronald Araujo can still become the solid wall he once was. ─ Christensen, if kept fit, remains a key pillar of our defense. ─ This current back four — it’s the same core that helped Barça win La Liga under Xavi, conceding the fewest goals. ─ And remember: Iñigo Martínez wasn’t even a regular starter then.
🔁 If we stay healthy, focused, and compact… We can recreate that defensive solidity again.
