One thing always leads to something. Admit it, nothing happens with no reasons, even no reason is already a reason. Before going any further, let me wish us ALL a happy Sunday evening from my side. Just as I said in yesterday's article, today was going to be one of those hectic days. I enjoyed every moment of it anyway; I was spending so much time in the house of God. That means a whole lot to me.

It is going to be those life centering articles. A good read if you will spend some time analyzing the facts behind the wordings. There is one funny proverb that says, ‘in the house of 10, if 7 are thieves then it is concluded that such a house is a house of thieves. It can be disheartening too, what happens to the remaining three; majority carries the vote. Have you been in such a situation before? I have seen these proverbs taking effect at local, national and international levels.

What brought about this article was a conversation during work with a friend that led to how many have been deprived even at global levels courtesy of what people know or think about your origin. Every negative behavior carries its stains and mostly it often robs off the successors. It was something we felt the government should take a step of correction. Let me enter the movie industry, this was what my Minister talked about in one of his recent teachings. What do the national movie industry portray to the world? source We have to understand this fact; every country and region is addressed by what others see on the TV or Internet in general as concerns to them. For instance, I have never been to the US but if you ask me about their lifestyle I can as well say, it is kind of rough within its streets. Yes, they have good structures and tech and big business. How do I tell all of this? From their pattern of movies; people always going about with guns, CEO’s bidding huge and the technology deployed in their detective movies.

I am not a fan of the gang part. If you asked me to stay in the US, I would be skeptical of choosing friends residing over there. I am not ready to have a gun mistakenly pointed at my face by a civilian. Hahahaha, may seem funny, but seriously speaking, this level of self defense seems beyond roof. When it comes to tech and business, I would love associating with anyone residing over there; Yes, I am an entrepreneur and I appreciate technology as well. source Coming back to our movie industry; ‘Nollywood’, what do we portray? Personally, I don't like watching them because what is sent out here is 80% not true. It is difficult to win a debate with a stranger over this. This was the center of his preaching; a whole movie will be centering on rituals and poisoning. On other occasions it is just a display of lust and nothing much; yes they add the fraud part too. This in general has become a global reputation outflow.

Would I love to do business with someone diabolic? How about running after women who are only after your money and nothing much? In my mind assuming I was a Foreigner, she will soon be planning to poison me to take over the entire possession. How about the fraudulent part? I have been seeing this over and over again in their movies. A friend told me the kind of special monitoring he was given when he travelled overseas.

To conclude, let me add, the movie industry is putting out mostly the wrong messages, this has been the fate of many Nigerian citizens. During that discussion with a friend as I earlier said, he felt displeased that many have been deprived of life changing opportunities in the process. There is no denying that it has affected business and relating with the outside world. My country aside, many other parts of the world are also facing this.

This has been one of the big flaws of broadcasting and the media industry in general. A lot of loopholes to be filled here and I must say not an easy convincing, the wrong messages have spread wide.
