Yeah I wish someone had sat me down in high school and said "Forget trig for a sec let's talk compound interest and Roth IRAs." It would have saved a lot of stress and costly missteps. It felt like being handed a beautifully detailed map of Antarctica when I was actually lost in downtown Manhattan The tools didn't match the terrain.
But here's the thing I realizing it wasn't taught is the first lesson The responsibility landed squarely in my lap and yours, The good news The information is out there, It takes effort it takes unlearning some passivity and it definitely takes overcoming the initial overwhelm burden But building financial literacy piece by piece feels more empowering than any A+ I ever got. It’s the real-world skill I’m finally learning, and honestly It might be the most important one yet coming through the hive blockchain.
