Remember sitting in math class staring at equations and wondering "When will I ever use this in real life" Yeah me too I have spent years mastering the Pythagorean theorem dissecting Shakespeare and memorizing the periodic table, But you know what was glaringly absent from my meticulously planned curriculum How to actually make manage and multiply money.
It hit me like a ton of bricks after graduation Suddenly, I wasn't being graded on essays or lab reports and The real test was survival paying rent navigating student loans figuring out taxes what even is a W-4? understanding credit scores and wrestling with the eternal question how do I make my paycheck stretch beyond just existing although School prepared me brilliantly for a world of exams and theoretical problems but It taught me discipline critical thinking (valuable), and how to absorb information while when it came to the fundamental skill of securing financial stability and building wealth. We learned compound interest mathematically but not how it could work for us over 5 years in an investment account We learned about historical economies but not how to budget for groceries in our own.
