I have been involved in crypto long enough to have made every one of the classic mistakes, whether that's selling at every little pump, buying tops, panic selling dips, chasing random tokens, or thinking I would make it in a few months.
But lately, with the changes that have happened with LEO, something has changed. I feel very calm without any emotional attachment to the price going up or down. It seems for the first time in my crypto journey, I am beginning to learn how to be patient. I have always asked myself how people hold crypto for a long time without being moved by price swings. My past experiences with crypto have been that of hit and run, buy and sell as quickly as possible, and most times this habit has led to more losses than gains.
I guess it may be because I am more experienced now, or maybe I'm finally tired of watching my emotions with every green or red candle. I am starting to care less about whether the price rises or goes down and starts thinking long term.
My early days in crypto were a rollercoaster of emotions. Every price movement usually felt like it needed immediate action. I would check the charts obsessively, hop on one token to the next, and act based on sheer emotion rather than a logical approach, and it was stressful, and painful. I would make the same mistakes again and again while expecting a different outcome.
But with LEO everything started to change. What I thought will be an opportunity for quick profits has become my greatest teacher in crypto patience. Watching my LEO's value grow more than 5x has been a completely different experience from how I used to feel. This growth was obvious to everyone, steady, sustainable, and backed by real development.
The most surprising change has been my reaction to market movements. When the market dips, I no longer feel that it will affect my crypto. Instead of panicking, I find myself considering whether to buy more LEO. This is an entirely new experience for me. The constant urge to sell has been replaced by a calm confidence in holding.
What makes LEO different could be because I have witnessed its genuine growth and development. Unlike the countless tokens I have had before, LEO has shown real value appreciation. It's currently the only crypto asset in my portfolio that has truly proven its worth, and this fact has transformed my approach to crypto.
The mental shift has been profound. I used to believe successful crypto investing meant catching every market move and trading actively. Now I understand that sometimes the best action is no action at all. Watching LEO grow while simply doing what I can do to earn more LEO has taught me more than all my previous crypto experience.
This newfound patience didn't come easily. There were lots of moments when I was tempted to sell, especially during the early stages of the price increase. When LEO moves higher, that old urge to "take profits" would surface. But holding through these temptations has rewarded me far more than my previous strategy of quick trades ever did.
The beauty of this transformation is in its simplicity. Instead of constantly looking for quick profits, I have learned to let time work in my favor. LEO's performance has shown me that patience isn't just a virtue, it's a viable strategy in crypto. Gone are the sleepless nights spent in constant panic due to market fluctuations and anxiety-filled days not knowing whether the world would end.
This experience has also made me appreciate why seasoned crypto investors seem unfazed by volatility. When you hold something you truly believe in, daily price movements become less significant. They transform from stress-inducing events into mere blips on a longer journey.
Looking at my small LEO bag now, I see more than just numbers on a screen. I see proof that patience in crypto can work. It's the only token I currently hold that has real value, and that's not by accident. It's the result of finally learning to let an investment grow without constantly interfering.
For those still caught in the cycle of emotional trading, my experience suggests there's another way. Sometimes, the best strategy is finding the right project and simply giving it time to grow. It's not as exciting as day trading, but it's certainly better for both your portfolio and your peace of mind.
