Today is Children's Day, and so as not to interrupt their time with their parents, I had the great idea of bringing the date forward so that I could enjoy a whole day with my three grandchildren.

Yesterday, Saturday, we went to the park, as planned. The children were happy. They love going to the park; it's one of their favorite places, as they feel free and safe there, without a doubt. I'm completely sure that they like it as much as going to the beach; in fact, it's also my preference.

Inside, there are playgrounds, areas exclusively for celebrations, public gyms, sports fields, and fruit trees. My 3-year-old grandson likes the playground, and the other two, who are 9 years old, prefer the gym; however, they share an interest in playing ball and running.

In the gym area, there are some mango trees. It is the season for this fruit, so it is common to find mangoes lying on the ground. My grandchildren picked some up, washed them, and we ate them. They were very sweet and delicious.

While we were at the park, we played, ran, talked, and lay down on the grass. We were there from 9:30 in the morning until 12:00 noon. The first activity they did was enjoy the playground, and then they moved on to the gym. After that, we looked for a place to stay for a while to play with the ball.

At the end of our visit to the park, we were able to observe some large iguanas up close. We decided to go to the Hipergalerías shopping center to take a tour of the place and eat ice cream. We arrived home around 2:00 p.m., very tired. We rested for a while, took a bath, and had lunch.

It was an unforgettable experience for everyone. It is wonderful to enjoy and share special moments with grandchildren, as it is an experience of love that provides the opportunity for a meaningful connection with their thoughts and feelings, which helps to strengthen the emotional bond. In short, it is a unique opportunity that allows us to experience a sense of satisfaction and joy.

The holidays are here, and it is essential to spend quality time with the children. I love and am satisfied to see them happy when they enjoy an activity outside of their daily routine. This weekend has been enriching for the family.
