I'm participating in this initiative again, for the second time, and I really liked this week's topics. I couldn't decide because I like them all, but I couldn't wait any longer, so I put the numbers 1 to 4 in a container, and the one I chose was number 1.

In this topic, @galenkp asks me to tell you about someone I love (other than your parents, children, or a religious figure) and why I love them.

That person I love, who isn't any of those mentioned by the author of the initiative, is a girl named Samara, whom I've talked about in other posts.

If I had to tell you why I love this little girl, I would say the following:

I've always wanted a granddaughter, but my children haven't granted me that wish, and both are living outside of Cuba. So, that goal is far away because I'm getting older, and when they have children, theirs will be far away from me.

This little girl has come to fill that emotional void and has made it her mission to brighten my life with each of her visits to my home.

In addition to the above, she is a very affectionate and well-behaved girl. She is very witty and intelligent for her six years of age, and she brings me so much peace and joy.

It's true that she's not my granddaughter, but I feel like one, and her mother and true grandmother know the love I have for this little girl, and luckily for me, they share her with me.

They always invite me to her birthday party and sometimes leave her with me to take care of her.

I'm so lucky that Samara came into my life.
