Nuttier than squirrel shit

She looked good, casually fine, with a long peasant skirt over her cowgirl boots and a blouse with a plunging neckline revealing ample...well, you know, cleavage. She doesn't need fancy clothes to make her appealing and sexy.

It was for my benefit of course, she doesn't dress with blouses like that when I'm not around, and I appreciated it feeling rather happy to be the fellow whose hand she was holding...and who would see the items come off later when we got home. More about that in another post though.

Neither of us wanted to go to the reunion but she'd reluctantly agreed after receiving pressure from some of the other girls and she wanted me there so I was there. I figured I'd get some decent chow considering the event location, a pretty fancy function centre, and I'd get to watch my girl shine in that way she does as she mingles with people she knew a while back. I enjoy watching her do that.

Nuttier than squirrel shit

No, not my girlfriend, not even close; I refer to one of the other women there who studied with my girl a long time ago and who is straight up fucken nuts...and I don't mean in a good way.

We arrived to what was a pretty legit set up and I felt buoyant that we were in for a good night but as we walked in my girlfriend leaned over and whispered in my ear, "watch out for that one," gesturing to a not unattractive woman with too much makeup on and too little clothing; something you'd have to see to understand. My girl had a bit of a smirk on her face so I didn't take it all too seriously and boy was I fucken wrong there.

The woman was gone, I mean away with the fairies, on another planet and bereft of her senses.

Over the course of the night we were "entertained" by the inappropriate and weird antics of the woman from afar but there was an uncomfortable hour or so where she attached herself to me so closely that I thought I'd have to kill her and throw her body into a dumpster to get rid of her...she was stuck like glue, or like shit to a blanket. (Me being the blanket.)

My girl thought it was all very hilarious of course. I was far less amused because I'd just wanted to spend a night with my gal, eat some food and have a drink or two but instead spent a frantic hour fending off nuttier-than-squirrel-shit-lady and reminding myself that if I killed her I'd probably go to jail and it's not worth it; I'll be honest though, I went through the pros and cons and only barely stopped myself from throat punching her to death.

She eventually left me alone and moved away to some other poor bastard but by then all the fucken little tempura battered prawn stick things were gone, the massive cheese platter only contained the shit cheese no one likes and I had to resort to picking over the fruit platter which was uninspiring at best. I was annoyed. That's not even to mention the laughter (at my expense) the whole episode inspired as my girl and her friends watched the whole train wreck from a short way off and with great amusement. Evil bitchaz!

Anyway, the night ended up being ok; the buffet was renewed with more prawny things and other stuff that I enjoyed and we managed to enjoy some great conversations with some really good people my girl has not seen for a long while, swapping stories and showing off as tends to happen at reunions. I banned my girl from leaving my side for the rest of the night and I had to duck down out of sight of Miss Squirrel Shit a time or two, but I survived and had a reasonably good night...I even got over my annoyance at girl's amusement at my expense and saw the funny side I suppose...her boobs helped me get over it.

Have you ever been at a function where people behaved badly or without care for other people's thoughts and feelings?

I've seen a few cases where entire events have been ruined by one, or a few people, who thought it's ok to behave in any manner they see fit. There's a fine line between having fun and letting one's hair down and being annoying, obnoxious, rude, insensitive, inappropriate and downright fucken nutty. I think alcohol plays a part sometimes, I've seen the over-consumption of it cause some big issues at events over the years which is one of the reasons I never drink to excess and mostly don't drink alcohol at all - I like to be in control of myself and in a position to take action if required, not stumble around like a drunk fool. But it's not always alcohol...I guess some people just don't care, or they're just fucken assholes.

What do you think? If you have a story to share go ahead in the comments should you wish to.

Lol, I enjoyed reading and I laugh the way you described that miss squirrel hahaha.

Anyway I agree with you that most people changes when they are under the influence of alcoholic drinks and good for you that you are avoiding it.

galenkp's avatar @galenkp 7/10/2025

Yep, I'm sure it's responsible for a lot of issues, embarrassment among them.

jenthoughts's avatar @jenthoughts 7/10/2025

Last last night my husband became a victim (let's say) of the person who is not responsible for being under the influence of liquor.

I just posted the story.

A reminder is if you are drunk, don't drive.

galenkp's avatar @galenkp 7/10/2025

Yep, there's something like 1200 deaths in Australia a year caused by drunk driving...and yet still people do it. Humans are idiots.

jenthoughts's avatar @jenthoughts 7/10/2025

And I wonder why government allowed it to be sold in the country and it caused a lot of damage to a person, family and the humanity as a whole.

holoz0r's avatar @holoz0r 7/10/2025

I can only blissfully dream of being so self unaware. It kind of makes me want to ruin a function somewhere, someday. Just for fun. Because someone might write about it.

galenkp's avatar @galenkp 7/10/2025

When you decide on the function please let me know because I want to be there to watch and video - make sure it's at a good venue also, somewhere with those fucken tempura prawn stick things.

holoz0r's avatar @holoz0r 7/10/2025

Well, all you need to do is ensure I'm invited to such an event.

(And that you set me as 50% reward beneficiary when it gets posted on HIVE) ;)

How would you ruin such a function? - You can't just say "By inviting you."

galenkp's avatar @galenkp 7/10/2025

I will see what I can do on that invite and will split the proceeds from any income made from the video, book deal, movie and spin off TV series and computer game.

How would I ruin it? Hmm, some may say, "just by being there," but I could come up with something way better than that for sure!

holoz0r's avatar @holoz0r 7/10/2025

I'll get my best shoes ready. I await the invite. Just make sure its not a black tie event. I fucking hate ties. And Bow ties, even more, because you can't even fkn see them under my beard.

galenkp's avatar @galenkp 7/10/2025

You could toe a bow tie around your beard. Problem solved.

holoz0r's avatar @holoz0r 7/10/2025

No, a ribbon!

galenkp's avatar @galenkp 7/10/2025

Even better. You come up with all the good ideas.

holoz0r's avatar @holoz0r 7/10/2025

It must look good on film, after all.

galenkp's avatar @galenkp 7/10/2025

Indeed, I wonder who will play you in the movie though.

holoz0r's avatar @holoz0r 7/10/2025

Fernando Alonso.

galenkp's avatar @galenkp 7/10/2025

Haha! I didn't see that coming.

holoz0r's avatar @holoz0r 7/10/2025

Nor did Esteban Ocon. :D

galenkp's avatar @galenkp 7/10/2025

Indeed, well said.

Horner huh? More to come on that one.

holoz0r's avatar @holoz0r 7/10/2025

He can just go back to his ranch and shoot skeet. Not like he needs the job. He's got a spice girl!

Drive to survive is going to have to produce more episodes if this year gets even crazier. It's a fantastic season so far, both on and off track.

galenkp's avatar @galenkp 7/10/2025

Yeah, next season of DTS will be a cracker!

avdesing's avatar @avdesing 7/10/2025

I think the girls had fun at your expense watching what was happening. I'm dying of laughter imagining your face and your desire to kill the squirrel. There are crazy people everywhere, but literally crazy.

In my case, several girls and I had an awkward time at a friend's wedding because a relative got so drunk that he was throwing himself at women he didn't even know. He was completely out of control and doing all sorts of inappropriate things. It was very uncomfortable. Alcohol can do a lot of things to a person.

galenkp's avatar @galenkp 7/10/2025

Yep, alcohol strikes again, it causes people to do some strange things, although sometimes funny. Of course, alcohol is responsible for a lot of heartache and misery like domestic violence, drunk driving deaths and injuries and such things.

avdesing's avatar @avdesing 7/10/2025

And in excess, it is very bad for the liver and the body in general.

That lady must have really spoilt your day😀 And the way she suck to you suggest she might have prepared herself to catch some loose guys. But it's good you weren't one of such

galenkp's avatar @galenkp 7/10/2025

Yep, you're right, I'm not loose.

tonyes's avatar @tonyes 7/10/2025

Hi @galenkp. I think this has happened to many of us and the truth is that it gets quite annoying.

I remember, about 37 years ago I was at a party for a young lady who was turning 15. She was the daughter of some friends and the parents had asked me to help organize the activity because I was also the teenager's teacher. Everything was going well, until an uninvited school teacher arrived with a few too many alcoholic drinks. He started messing with the guests, did things he thought were funny and had to be forcibly removed from the activity. When he was taken out of the house he started to assault by throwing rocks and it didn't end well.

There are people who don't understand their place in an activity or need to be the center of attention and will do anything to achieve it. There are others who do things like that under the influence of alcohol, although the person who drinks should be responsible with it.

Sorry for the length of the comment.

Happy day.

Cheers and best regards.

galenkp's avatar @galenkp 7/10/2025

I do not think being drunk is a viable excuse for bad behaviour, do you?

tonyes's avatar @tonyes 7/10/2025

Of course not. People must be responsible with their actions and if they cannot control it, they should not consume alcohol. Many people use alcohol as an excuse, when the problem is with them.

galenkp's avatar @galenkp 7/10/2025

Indeed.

Hahaha what a nice hour that must have been! But was she just talking or like touching and dancing and such glued to you?

I had to Google for nutter than squirrel shit, I couldn't get it, here we would say "out like a balcony"... When they do meetings like this only the invited goes there, you and your ex class mates, never the rest of the family so it sounded strange to me this

As for this person, there are plenty, all guided by alcohol, A LOT, I remember back in the days some used to drink so much and vomit around, others just laughed I found it disgusting... Nowadays like at work, when they do end of year events some people drink so much that they start being molesting to the women like touching and such, some women start to provoke men like touching under there with their ass... It's kind a mess, I guess some people have no dignity

galenkp's avatar @galenkp 7/10/2025

Touching man, getting way too fucken close for comfort, and saying all sorts of shit and generally being a dick head. She wasn't visually unattractive but I found her behaviour very unattractive. She had no class and that's not the sort of women I find attractive.

So, squirrels eat nuts, so their shit is nutty. A human acting like a nut means they're acting crazy and weird.

davideownzall's avatar @davideownzall 7/10/2025

I agree, women without class are not attractive, it's like when you see a nice girl and she starts burping and sweating... No thanks

What surprises me is that your girl laughed and did nothing, if someone did that to me if she was ugly my wife would laugh, but average and above looking she would bite like a snake

galenkp's avatar @galenkp 7/10/2025

My girlfriend knows that I only have eyes for her because I show her that every day, and she is comfortable knowing that I feel that way.

Thanks a lot!

bozz's avatar @bozz 7/10/2025

Wow, sounds like quite a night. I think the emotion that I most closely associated with all of this is sadness. I would imagine that lady must be so sad and lonely and unhappy that she acts like that all the time. Almost like she is overcompensating to try and put on a show to mask her misery. Unfortunately, that ends up making everyone else miserable! I'm glad you (and her) survived.

galenkp's avatar @galenkp 7/10/2025

Overcompensating indeed, exactly what we said afterwards and that's quite sad. It was a rather pathetic demonstration and no matter how I tried to defuse and detach the situation she kept circling back to the destructive path she was on, a path she's probably quite familiar with. You've summed it up well. I'll get over it, was over it minutes later, but she has to live with the train wreck she's created of her life.

bozz's avatar @bozz 7/10/2025

Yes, definitely sad.

krazzytrukker's avatar @krazzytrukker 7/10/2025

Some similarities to one of my nightmares of the past. But it was an asshole high school bully at the 10 year reunion. A bully who decided he wanted to stomp everyone for taking his drunken arses keys from him. Kenny Potter was a wrestler in high school and tough as an Ox. Built like one too the No Neck'd Fat Bastard. It was a shit show and I will never go to those types of functions for just that reason. People that were horrible back then most often still are today... untitled.gif

galenkp's avatar @galenkp 7/10/2025

Yep, not surprised here. These reunion things are heinous and I don't go, I only went in support and the girl wouldn't have gone if I didn't and even though she didn't really want to go all that badly we thought it was an important way to close the circle.

zakludick's avatar @zakludick 7/10/2025

Hahahahaha! OMG. I have been to functions and stuff where the same sort of crazy is seen.

The most memorable was one of @clairemobey's gigs where there was a crazy lady who just wanted to be one-up on any chart you wanted to measure her by... Claire will know who I am talking about. Hehe.

Thanks for the laugh.
