I hope you all had a great weekend. I've been busy and missed out on a few weekends of weekend engagement topics but I'm back for this one. Today, I'm going to share three personal opinions I have and they are kind of random. Feel free to add on or argue my opinions in the comments below.
#1. Sometimes it's ok to not be right/lose

I feel it's normal to want to win especially when a person gets into an argument. Everyone's had a situation where they were like "I'm right and you're wrong". Personally, I've experienced this countless times especially when I was younger. I always wanted to win arguments against my younger brother or parents. Even when it came to video games I also wanted to beat my younger brother to the point where we actually brawled each other and I remember it clearly that we got a huge scolding and ended up getting grounded from playing any video games. Where am I going with all this. Well after growing up, I learned that it's okay to concede. Maybe it's more I'm lazy to argue who knows but when I argue and even win sometimes it just doesn't feel like much. I feel like I wasted my time so now I don't even bother. Don't get me wrong if you're in court and you didn't do something wrong, you better defend yourself.
#2. Too much is bad for us
If you read my blogs, you knew I was crazy about pickleball starting from the end of last year. It started around Chinese New Year where I downloaded an app called reclub and I went crazy. I played almost everyday and there were sometimes on the weekends where I would play almost 6 hours. The most I recall is playing 10 hours. After a little over half a year of pickleball, I honestly got kind of burnt out. It wasn't as fun anymore but I still do play 3x a week now averaging 2.5 hours per day vs 6-7x a week averaging 3-4 hours per day. This can apply to anything in life. Even there were some times in the past where I liked a certain food or snack. I just kept eating it until I got sick of it. I'm sure a lot of people can relate to this so do share your experience in the comments!
#3. Don't just eat to eat. Savor it.
Lastly, it's food. Yes, I love food and I hope you do too. It still surprises me to this day that there are some people that don't care about what they eat. They will just eat to eat and be full. Of course, there are situations where the person may not be financially able to eat nice food all the time but it doesn't mean that all nice food have to be expensive. I'm not judging though as everyone has the right to eat what they want. For me though, I feel we have one life and we should eat good food. What's your favorite food?

For a moment I was thinking what is this cute little dinosaur. But end up it is airpods.
lol yes but do you get why I used it
Hi, it's great to be right and win arguments. This is great if you're a lawyer or a politician. Eating the same meal every day is very boring, so variety is the key. If you're feeling tired of playing one sport, maybe it's time to try another. I love trying delicious foods; noodles, lomo saltado, and aji de gallina are my favorites. Nice post, my friend.😀
o.o yes it depends on the situation. Sometimes it's not worth it to be right and win though like maybe with your wife :) you will let her win right.
oh no haha not really keen on trying other sports. What sports do you play?
I love noodles too especially ramen and udon
It takes courage to accept losing an argument, especially when you know deep down that you are right. But sometimes it's necessary to just accept defeat for peace sake.
ya a bit of courage but I think it's more like giving up the need to feel like you need to win, maybe more a bit of giving up the ego.
My favorite food is jolof and chicken 🍗🍲
o.o never heard of jolof before. it's like a special rice? I just googled it
