I don't consider him to be a perfect person by any means. What's more, I have as many defects as virtues. But, for my family, many students I've had over 30 years of work, for my friends or for some members of my community, I'm a kind of role model.

Of all of them, the ones who touched my heart the most with this personality model were my students and, above all, those who became teachers because they say that I inspired them with my example.

I really appreciate all of the above, because it is synonymous with good behavior and an adequate personality.

To respond to this initiative, I asked my five siblings, three nephews, my wife, two sisters-in-law, four who were my students, two neighbors, and three co-workers to answer the traits of my personality that they appreciated and that could make me a role model

Responsibility. I can say that it is my greatest virtue and therefore, sometimes I have reached extremes that I do not like, because when in a project or work that I undertake someone does not do what they should or put their best effort, I become very that person. For me, things have to be done well or they are not done.

Integrity. I act honestly and consistently in all elements of my life and I am a person who can be trusted. In fact, I am the repository of secrets that will go with me to the grave, because those who placed that trust in me deserve that I be faithful to them and to my way of being. Willing to help others.

According to them, I am an empathetic person and I like to put myself in the place of others, to be able to understand them and share their feelings. For some it is a sign of weakness, for me it is not.

Familiar. It is one of the other elements of my personality that they admire the most because of the love I feel for them and the value I give them.

Humility. I do not consider myself to be above anyone, nor do I think I know more than anyone else because I am a professor or have taken several postgraduate courses. What's more, when I've been asked something and I don't know it, I admit it.

I remember that one of my nephews cried a lot when in an argument they asked me a question and I couldn't answer it. For him that could not be, because his uncle, who was a teacher and his role model, must know everything. I had to explain to him a lot that knowing everything is impossible for any human being and that, instead of giving a wrong answer to look good with others, it is better to be honest and say that you don't know.

Passion and commitment. I am a passionate person who is committed to my people, my projects and my work. I would say that, sometimes, too much and that makes me lose my balance towards other things that also need my maximum attention, such as health, for example.
