Weekend-Engagement topics: WEEK 267: Three Life Goals

By tonyes on 7/19/2025

Once again I have to thank @galenkp for taking me out of my comfort zone and, for helping me to understand that the most important thing in my chosen topic for this initiative was not painting skills, but, rather, the need to be able to express my goals and explain why.

I must say that, at this stage of my life, some of my objectives are still the same as they have been all my life because they have to do with something more than material wealth. They are non-hereditary goals that I took from my mother and have made them mine for life.

Perhaps many people do not understand this. I don't want them to. Nor do I want them to think that I don't like material wealth.

It's just that for me, these are life goals.

My family is my treasure

This is the greatest wealth I have, and my most precious treasure. No matter how many years go by and no matter how far away my siblings and close family are, I will continue to take care of them, as I have done since I had to take on the role of father, when my mother was left alone without a father figure at home.

I like to participate in their achievements, help to break down their walls, contribute to the education of my nephews and nieces and be there for them in every problem.

Living life intensely

Life is an instant and no one knows when the curtain will come down and our play on earth will end. That is why I try to enjoy every moment that life gives me.

When my wife and I have the chance, we treat ourselves, celebrate every birthday and live every day as if it were our last.

Taking care of my health as a priority life goal

Despite the health problems I have, I take care of my health as the most precious asset I possess, because without health I cannot take care of my family and I cannot live life to the fullest.

If you look at the drawing, you will notice that the heart and the smile adorn the work.

This is how I conceive my objectives: to give my heart to my loved ones, who give it back to me full of health and life, and the smile is the engine that moves my family's life and is the one that we intend to preside over our lives, as a sign of happiness and love.

What do you think?

Note: I have used the translator DeepL Translate.

The image is my own, made by me and photographed with my Samsung J2 phone.

That's really true that our family is our greatest treasure, I wouldn't trade my family over anything, and also it's really important to take good care of ourselves and have a healthy lifestyle, in that way we can take care our family who depends on us.

Loved ones and family are very important and are related to living life intensely, and for that it is essential to take care of your health. The three are related and are very beautiful. The simplest things in life are the most important!

Without a doubt, we know how to appreciate the little things, because we may have once lacked the big things. You learn! Hugs!
