With the launch of Conclave Arcana Conflicts, Splinterlands has became better and larger. Think Rebellion Conflicts… but more cards, more powerful units and archons, and packed with even more complex gameplay. Players can stake cards and packs into Battle Wagons, earn Contribution Points, and unlock exclusive airdropped Promo Conclave Arcana cards. However, as intriguing as it sounds, it is very easy to get started. Here's a deep dive on how you can get started with Conclave Arcana Conflicts.

🌍 What Exactly Are Conclave Arcana Conflicts? 🌍
- Purchase or craft Mage (Battle) Wagons
- Stake up to 5 cards or 100 packs per wagon
- Earn Contribution Points (CP) accumulated over time
- Earn 1 “chance” at the airdrop per 100,000 CP
- Reach 800 chances to guarantee one airdropped card (plus gold/black foil cards)
- What was a simple airdrop is now a strategic staking competition—rewarding commitment and planning.
🛠️ Crafting Battle Wagons 🛠️
Resource | Amount |
Wood | 40,000 |
Stone | 10,000 |
Iron | 4,000 |
Aura | 2,500 |
These Wagon Kits can then be redeemed to build or repair wagons. They’re also tradable on the non-card market, making land ownership a major strategic advantage. Players with developed land can generate these resources, while others, especially those without Land, may need to purchase kits directly.
💰 How Contribution Points and Airdrops Work 💰
Standard Conclave Arcana packs yield 100 CP/hour; Alchemy = 300 CP; Legendary = 600 CP; Rebellion packs = 50 CP.
Rebellion cards and packs are still usable but only generate half the CP of their Conclave Arcana equivalents. Contribution Points convert to entries in the Conflict airdrop pool:
100,000 CP = 1 chance 800 chances = 1 guaranteed airdrop card
Gold or black foil cards are awarded based on further thresholds or potion use. To secure a guaranteed card in a 30-day Conflict, players typically need to average around 111,111 CP per hour across their wagons.
⏱️ Battle Wagon Cooldowns and Repairs ⏱️
Receiving a Conflict airdrop damages one wagon per card, requiring it to be repaired before reuse, costing the same resource total as crafting.
📊 Some Random Maths I found 📊
Landowners with the ability to craft Wagon Kits have a clear advantage in these events, since they can continually replace damaged wagons without spending DEC or vouchers. For others, participation becomes a resource investment: DEC to buy wagons, potions to increase reward odds, and different cards to stake for the Conflict.
🧭 My Honest Take: Why I'm Sitting This One Out
Going back, without access to high rarity cards, unopened packs or a stash of Conclave Arcana assets, there’s just no realistic way for me to build up the needed Contribution Points to earn a guaranteed card. Even if I bought a wagon, I wouldn’t be able to fill it with anything valuable enough to make a difference. And that kind of investment without returns is something I just can’t afford or even want to do right now.
Still, I admire the system. It pushes the game toward long-term sustainability. It rewards those who invested in Land and kept collecting cards. It introduces a different type of gameplay that makes Splinterlands stand out more than others.
So for now, I’m watching from the sidelines. I’m lurking on the Discord from time to time and I’m learning what strategies work and what setups maximize returns. Discord is a real valuable sources of information especially for real time. Right now, my focus is to play the game and completely adjust to the system since the current economy is, by no exaggeration, too expensive for a rent to play option.
