• semantic web : Another feature of HTML5 is the Semantic Web. Semantics is interpreted as ‘meaningful’ or ‘meaningful.’ Existing HTML documents were merely a means of expression. Therefore, the structure can be defined using various tags, but this is only a simple document expression rather than using tags in the exact sense. In fact, there is no particular inconvenience for people to read these documents. However, it is bound to be difficult for search engines or document interpreters to identify and interpret documents. W3C developed and announced XHTML using XML, which has a representative meaningful structure, for structured markup. However, in the end, XHTML did not spread widely and HTML5 took over its development. In HTML5, several tags (header, hgroup, nav, article, section, aside, footer) were added to indicate meaningful structure.
