Greetings to everyone in the Daily Blog community! Today I'm joining you to share with you a new day at the dental office. While in recent weeks I've been sharing with you some of the most common dental treatments in the office, one of my favorites is root canals. I consider them almost therapeutic (for the patient, of course), but depending on the person, this may or may not be a favorite for the dentist and the dental assistant. We really like it because of the step-by-step process of the treatment, the instruments and materials, and because it saves a tooth that could have been extracted. It's a good idea.

For root canal treatments, I like to prepare in advance because the doctor usually needs many instruments and materials that must be on hand and easily accessible. This is, in any case, my greatest duty: to make the lives of the dentist and the patient more convenient. And in any case, root canal treatments are usually predictable, meaning they're not performed overnight. It involves a clinical and radiological hug, Carmen, plus medication, and then, immediately, the opening. So, we know ahead of time when the patient will be arriving for treatment. And half an hour before they arrive, I set everything up by hand. Except for the instruments, which we must place immediately, plus the ejector and a glass of mouthwash so the patient knows it's new and hasn't been used by anyone else.

For this patient, a permanent filling was about to happen, so we had gutta percha, a tamper, a lighter, alcohol (fuel for the lighter), and endodontic cement. Plus, everything that goes into restoring the crown. It's always a relief to finish a root canal treatment, as the process shouldn't take too many days, since the tooth (even though it has temporary cement) is exposed. After a long day at work, it's always nice to be able to sit down and enjoy a delicious meal. Sometimes we don't even realize what time we're done, and being hungry isn't a good idea to work (haha). So, after sharing a delicious meal, the day was over. I'm enjoying what I do more and more. Without further ado, thank you so much for stopping by and reading my post.

Your passion for your work shines through. I also love how organized you are with your setup. It really reflects that you value both the dentist’s flow and the patient’s experience.
