Greetings to everyone in the Daily Blog community! Today I'm joining you here to share with you a new day in my life. Today is a very special day for me, as my partner and I are celebrating our 8th anniversary, so it was time to celebrate all these years together. It seems easy to say that so many years have passed, but anyone who is married or has ever been in one knows that there are both good and bad times, and it's up to the couple to decide whether it all means a stronger union or the end of it. I can say that we have faced each stage of our relationship with great responsibility, respect, trust, and above all, love. And i can also say that it has been a time of happiness and I'm glad to have the person I have by my side. Here I tell you about our day.
¡Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Daily Blog! El día de hoy me uno por aquí para compartir con ustedes un nuevo día en mi vida. Hoy es un día muy especial para mí, pues mi pareja y yo estamos celebrando nuestro 8vo aniversario, por lo cual era momento de salir a celebrar por todos estos años de unión. Parece fácil decir que se han cumplido tantos años, pero para cualquiera que esté en un matrimonio o haya estado en uno, sabrá que se viven tanto cosas buenas cómo malas y queda de parte de la pareja que todo ello signifique una unión mas fuerte o el quiebre de la misma. Puedo decir que hemos afrontado con mucha responsabilidad, respeto, confianza y sobre todo, amor, cada etapa que hemos pasado durante nuestra relación. Y también puedo decir que ha sido un tiempo en el que he sido feliz y me alegra tener a la persona que tengo a mi lado. Aqui les cuento nuestro día.
As part of tradition, we used to go out for Chinese food when anniversaries came around, so that's how we celebrated the first year. Last year we couldn't do it due to financial difficulties, but this year, we decided to plan much better and make a necessary expense for that big day. We went to eat Chinese food at a restaurant in Altavista, Puerto Ordaz called "Beijing." We ate a lot, talked, and spent time enjoying our stay. The food was delicious. So, with full bellies, we went for a walk around the city center until we got to the movie theater, where we decided to see Superman. Although I must admit it wasn't our first choice, we enjoyed it quite a bit because we were happy. Today I felt like a little girl again, like the first time we went to the movies together. When night fell, we walked home, sharing thousands of things about ourselves. I think that while you don't need to spend excessive money to show love to someone, at certain times going out and making that gesture is a nice thing to do. I feel it strengthens the relationship. Cómo parte de la tradición, solíamos ir a comer comida china cuando llegaban los aniversarios pues así celebramos el primer año. El año pasado no pudimos hacerlo por dificultades económicas, pero este año, decidimos planificar mucho mejor y hacer un gasto necesario a favor de ese gran día. Nos fuimos a comer comida china en un restaurante que está en Altavista, Puerto Ordaz llamado "Beijing". Comimos bastante, hablamos y pasamos el rato disfrutando de nuestra estadía. La comida estaba muy rica. Así que con la barriga llena nos fuimos a caminar por todo el centro de allí hasta llegar al cine, dónde decidimos ver Superman. Aunque debo admitir que no era la primera opción para ver, la disfrutamos bastante porque estábamos felices. Hoy me sentí como una muchachita nuevamente, cómo aquella primera vez que fuimos al cine juntos. Llegada la noche nos fuimos caminando a casa, contando miles de cosas de nosotros y sucesivamente. Creo que aunque no hace falta gastar dinero excesivamente para demostrar amor al otro, en ciertos momentos salir y hacer ese gesto es algo agradable. Siento que refuerza la relación. Fue un día muy bonito y lleno de cariño. Sin más que decir, muchísimas gracias por pasar por aquí.
