Underline Here's a pic I took of mom the other day. She is looking nice in her Red Mumu.

Mom was living with us (my immediate family) on maui before.. before that she was living by herself in an apt complex right by the mall nearby us. Then she had an episode.. I don't think she ate properly and she was all disoriented and didn't know where she was. I think she fell also, but there was no evidence of that. So since that happening, she lived with us, and now here in cali where I am now. Her younger sister takes real good care of her. I am just in charge of turning on the TV for her and playing some cards every now and then.

She flew to cali a few months before I came here. I was surprised to see that she had gained some weight (quite a lot of weight) and she had that spark in her eye that I hadn't seen for many years. All in all.. she was looking and acting great!

We used to play everyday at one point. That was before.. I would play cards with just me and mom and after just 1 or 2 games, she would start forgetting how to play or make some mistake like playing extra cards.. Now she is much more focused and can play about 6 games before getting tired.

I took this pic just yesterday. See how her eyes are focused on the cards and she in 'into' it.
