My Take about Surrogacy.

Good day loving family, I just want to share what are my thoughts concerning the high rate of surrogacy in the world today.

What does surrogacy meant, it is a when a person(human being most especially female) or an animal acts like a substitute for the social or pastoral role of another, in relating it to what i would discuss and better understanding it is when a woman who gibes birth to a child not actually her own and with the intention to hand over the child to the biological parents immediately its born.

I feel this is not actually the African way and culture, but then again I can understand that some women are unfortunately not able to carry their own baby so they need someone to do so. The quick scientific advancement in this aspect of reproduction and child bearing is kind of troubling because it brings about disagreement and conflict even right of ownership dispute. It seems wonderful to some part of humanity but to some part it seems like a big challenge when things eventually goes south (wrong).

Generally it was like a challenge to mankind which has been proffered a solution reducing issue of infertility. Infertility has shattered so many homes, it has created hatred and jealousy amongst families and friends. The concern couple's who once profess love and companionship becomes strangers and a mock especially when the woman is a victim, instead of the man to stand firm and support the woman he tends to disgrace and downgrade the partner.

This is totally wrong for any man to act In such way. For every surrogacy matters and problems the woman always takes the blame, I would personally won't blame women who are desperate to have a child even if it's not from their womb, but my issue is the authentic child bearer can blackmail, can instigate threat and so many other life threatening warnings, that may unfortunately lead to something bad.

Seeing a once vibrant and cheerful woman been humiliated and degraded because she is barren, she automatically becomes a forgotten statue, forgetting the woman has feelings and she's a human being too.

This is why to some extent I don't really think surrogacy is bad but the relating problems it is now generating is the major concern and issues, they have turned it to a business routine leading to blackmails and threat to life partnership.

My main buttress here is that firstly children are a natural gift from our maker and creator, if any woman that wants to under go such serious transaction or deal they should b proper and documented agreement if possible backed up by the health and medical insurance hospital.

I can't really say that surrogacy should be stopped but I think a very legal means should be put into consideration and legal approval. This same surrogacy has made so many families live happily and satisfied, in another angle it has destroyed marriages and families. Some would say they prefer surrogacy to adoption because the children is completely not theirs.

Please say your thoughts on this surrogacy and what is the best way forward.
