Feliz noche amigos de Daily blog hoy quiero compartir con ustedes cómo estuvo mi día y es que creo que es muy extremo aceptar pedidos de tortas con pocas horas de anticipación y es que un cliente que trabaja en un hotel me escribió en la mañana que si podía hacer una torta para el final de la tarde y la verdad que una venta no cae nada mal así que por supuesto le dije que si y empecé a hacer todo y ver qué me hacía falta comprar para este pedido súper express.

Good night friends of Daily Blog today I want to share with you how my day was and it is that I think it is very extreme to accept cake orders with just a few hours' notice and it is that a client who works in a hotel wrote to me in the morning asking if I could make a cake for the end of the afternoon and the truth is that a sale is not bad at all so of course I said yes and I started to do everything and see what I needed to buy for this super express order.

Me levanté bien temprano y me dispuse a preparar la torta para que está estuviera fría a la hora de armar la torta, en esta ocasión el pedido era una torta de chocolate húmeda. Ahora que lo pienso este cliente siempre pide este sabor de tortas. Una vez las tortas ya estuvieron listas me arregle pues debia ir al centro de la isla a comprar lo que me faltaba para poder tener este pedido listo.

I woke up early and got ready to prepare the cake so it would be cool by the time I assembled it. This time, the order was for a moist chocolate cake. Now that I think about it, this customer always orders this flavor of cake. Once the cakes were ready, I got ready because I had to go to the center of the island to buy what I needed to get this order ready.

Al llegar al centro de la isla lo primero que hice fue ir a la floristería y lo que queríamos eran unas rosas de color rosado pero justo no había casi flores y solo encontré estás rosas pero la verdad estaban hermosas y combinaban con lo que mi cliente y yo teníamos en mente.

When I arrived in the center of the island, the first thing I did was go to the florist and what we wanted were some pink roses, but there were almost no flowers and I only found these roses, but the truth is they were beautiful and matched what my client and I had in mind.

Luego fui a mi lugar favorito de siempre y sin las tiendas de repostería y es que debía comprar algunos sprinkles, base para tortas, una caja y un Topper. En una de estas tiendas ví una hermosa base para colocar las tortas que espero más adelante poder comprar una, una vez que ya había comprado todo estaba lista para irme a la casa para seguir con este pedido tan bello.

Then I went to my all-time favorite place, without the bakery stores, to buy some sprinkles, a cake stand, a box, and a topper. In one of these stores, I saw a beautiful cake stand that I hope to buy later. Once I had everything, I was ready to go home to continue with this beautiful order.

Al llegar a casa prepare la crema de mantequilla, una parte de esta crema le coloque cacao y la utilice para rellenar la torta.

When I get home, I prepare the buttercream, I add cocoa to part of it and use it to fill the cake.

El resto de la crema de mantequilla la pinte de un color rosado bastante claro y lo coloque en la torta y le pase un scraper a la torta. Por otro lado limpie las rosas y cubri si tallo para que no estuvieran en contacto directo con la torta.

I painted the remaining buttercream a fairly light pink and placed it on the cake. I scraped the cake with a scraper. I also cleaned the roses and covered their stems so they wouldn't come into direct contact with the cake.

Una vez la torta estuvo lista tome algunas fotos para Instagram y por supuesto pesarla para que el cliente sepa el peso final de su torta, recordemos que muchas veces las personas tienen una idea equivocada del tamaño de sus tortas!

Once the cake was ready, I took some photos for Instagram and of course weighed it so the customer knew the final weight of their cake. Remember, people often have the wrong idea about the size of their cakes!

Y me arregle para hacer la entrega y es que el cliente no podía pasar por mi casa a buscar su torta, la torta quedó un poco alta y por esto no podíamos ponerle la tapa a la caja.

And I arranged to make the delivery, because the customer couldn't come to my house to pick up his cake. The cake was a little high, so we couldn't put the lid on the box.

Esto de hacer una torta para el mismo día no es nada fácil y es que tuve que hacer muchas cosas en muy poco tiempo y aún me faltaba hacer el delivery, y cabe destacar que no tengo carro pero hay unos carros que aquí conocemos como ruta corta y nos llevan a el lugar que necesitemos en el mismo municipio. Aquí ya iba en uno de estos carros y la torta iba perfecta.

Making a cake for the same day isn't easy. I had to do a lot of things in a very short amount of time, and I still had to make the delivery. It's worth noting that I don't have a car, but there are some short-haul cars here that take us to wherever we need to go in the same municipality. I was already in one of these cars here, and the cake turned out perfectly.

Y llegué al hotel que me parece hermoso y le escribí al muchacho que ya estaba hay para entregarle su pedido, el estuvo feliz con la torta y le pareció hermosa. Fue un día bastante ajetreado y termine bastante cansada pero satisfecha de haber echo una torta tan bella y de quedar bien con este cliente.

I arrived at the hotel, which I thought was beautiful, and I texted the guy who was already there to deliver his order. He was delighted with the cake and thought it was beautiful. It was a pretty busy day, and I ended up feeling quite tired, but satisfied with having made such a beautiful cake and having pleased this customer.
