When children achieve or succeed, it is a happiness that cannot be contained in one's chest. Today I want to share a moment that was full of many emotions. The promotion of my son from basic education.

Cuando los hijos obtienen logro s o tienen éxito, es una felicidad que no cabe en el pecho. Hoy quiero compartir un momento que estuvo lleno de muchas emociones. La promoción de mi hijo de educación básica.

My son was very excited for this moment to come. Until the day arrived, it was very early, as we had to be there at 7:30 am; the event was scheduled for 8:00 am. We arrived at a good time, so much so that there were almost no people there. But it was already ready to welcome all those who had been promoted. This year they made a nice decoration with the contribution of the representatives.

Mi hijo estaba muy emocionado porque llegará este momento. Hasta que llegó el día, fue desde bien temprano,ya que teníamos que estar a las 7:30 AM; el acto estaba programado a las 8:00 am. Llegamos a buena hora, tanto así que no había casi personas. Pero ya estaba listo para recibir a todos los promovidos. Este año realizaron una bonita decoración con el aporte de los representantes.

I am very happy about this, because this school year, there was only talk of banning anything to do with graduation. But with the support of the representatives, it was possible to make everything beautiful. There were decorated spaces, both for signing and for taking pictures of the graduating student and his or her family.

Esto me alegro mucho, ya que este año escolar, solo se hablaba de prohibir cualquier cosa que tuviese que ver con graduación. Pero con el apoyo de los representantes se logró que todo estuviese bien lindo. Hubo espacios decorados , tanto para firma como para tomas fotográficas del promovido con su familia.

The event started at around 9:00am, my son was one of the last sections to receive his papers. When it was my little boy's turn; his dad and I took him together to sign his book and then go up to the podium to receive his papers from his teacher.

El acto comenzó a eso de las 9:00am, mi hijo era una de las últimas secciones para recibir sus documentos. Cuando le tocó el turno de mi pequeño; su papá y yo lo llevamos juntos a que firmara su libro y luego subir al podio a recibir sus papeles de la mano de su maestra.

After the last child had passed, awards were presented to the teachers. To the surprise of those promoted, a musical group of coastal drummers arrived to liven up the moment.

Luego de pasar el último niño, se realizó entrega de reconocimientos a los docentes. Para sorpresa de los promovidos llegó un grupo musical de tambor costeño para animar el momento.

It was all very emotional, I couldn't hold back the tears as I watched my son begin to receive his achievements. And those to come.

Todo estuvo muy emotivo, no pude contener las ganas de llorar al ver a mi hijo comenzar a recibir sus logros. Y los que vendran.
