Hellooo guysss.... How was your day? Was it busy and hectic with work? I hope you had a happy week.
So, in this blog i will share about my daily activity.
It’s that time of the month again—grocery shopping day! As usual, I went to our favorite supermarket with my mom to stock up on daily essentials. There’s something oddly satisfying about walking through aisles filled with everything from snacks and spices to body wash and detergent. It’s not just a routine task, but also a fun bonding time with my mom.
Our first stop was the section for crackers and dry goods. The shelves were full of colorful packaging from various brands like Kelong and Rose Brand. We picked up a few bags of kerupuk super, perfect for crispy side dishes to go with our warm rice meals at home. The bright yellow, red, and orange colors on the packaging really caught our attention and made us want to try several varieties.
Next up: the all-time favorite aisle—instant noodles! Indomie, Mie Sedaap, Pop Mie—you name it, they were all neatly arranged in rows. I grabbed some Indomie variants like rendang, ayam geprek, and of course, the classic fried noodle flavor. Instant noodles are always a must-have at home, especially for those lazy days or late-night cravings.
Then, we headed to the sauces and condiments section. Bottles of sweet soy sauce from brands like ABC, Indofood, and Bango lined the racks, alongside various chili sauces and tomato ketchup. My mom, ever the careful shopper, compared prices and checked for promotions. We eventually got a few bottles of soy sauce and a large pouch of extra spicy chili sauce—perfect for pairing with fried snacks!
We also stopped by the body care aisle. The shelves smelled amazing, filled with products from Biore, Lux, Shinzui, and Lifebuoy. I spent some time choosing the perfect body wash refill and ended up with a floral-scented one from Shinzui. My mom added a few shampoo and soap refills to the cart as well. This part of the store always feels refreshing and calming. Our cart gradually filled up. Its contents reflected our daily life—simple but full of meaning. Along the way, we talked about what meals we’d cook this week, and my mom started making a mental list of recipes based on what we’d picked up.
Grocery shopping might seem like a routine chore, but for us, it’s a wholesome moment. There’s laughter, small talks, and shared decisions that make the day special. And when everything is finally arranged in the kitchen at home, there’s a sense of satisfaction and readiness to face the week ahead.
Today’s grocery trip was a success—and a joy! Until the next shopping day! 💛
