Today was one of those full, tiring—but fulfilling—days. I started off by dropping my son off at school, then headed straight back home to tackle a mountain of chores. Laundry, cleaning the house, organizing a few things—I was on my feet almost the whole morning.
In between all that, I made time for a quick play session with Luna, our 10-year-old Boston Terrier. She may not have a tail to wag, but her excited little hops and bright eyes always melt my heart. Even at her age, she still brings so much energy and love into our home.
After picking up my son from school, I gave myself a small, well-deserved treat: a comforting meal of Jollibee burger steak and a refreshing iced coffee latte. It was simple, but exactly what I needed to recharge.
Life doesn't always need grand rewards—sometimes, a quiet meal, a happy dog, and a peaceful moment are more than enough.
